McCartney and Dalrymple's drafting and list build has built this team, as much as everyone wants to give credit to Bevo.
Up until today Tom Boyd's contract was the biggest stuff up in AFL history, I'm guilty of giving it to Dogs fans about Boyd contract. Yet he was probably the deciding factor in the only game that matters. As well as great recruiting in Biggs and Hamling. And we all know the story of Dalrymple's great drafting.

Wow Bulldogs.
The culture they built at that club is just wow. Instead of whinging to their teammates when one of them drops the ball or mosses a target, there seem to be at least 2-3 players ready to correct that mistake. Fingerpointing players should sit down and have a good look at this.
Beveridge has been a fantastic coach for the Bulldogs. Amazing win.

Who knows, maybe now the Bulldogs won't need to stick with the marketing gimmick name and they might return to a name with an actual noun. Ideally "Footscray" or even "West Melbourne". "Western" is nonsense.
