AFLW 2024 - Round 10 - Chat, game threads, injury lists, team lineups and more.
Might be because of a few incidents as the players were exiting in bygone years.Does anyone else find it a joke that the visitors rooms at Toorak Park are on the other side of the ground, when there are rooms on the other side.
As has been said long way to go. Who knows, 10 players quality player might again unexpectedly turn-up at Prahran before clearances close thereby turning them into the team to beat.Hear Hear. Nice post AM.
Watch out for Beasers boys this year. Flying!
Don't they have a Pokies venue and if they do , where does that money go.As has been said long way to go. Who knows, 10 players quality player might again unexpectedly turn-up at Prahran before clearances close thereby turning them into the team to beat.
Opposition change rooms? You and I both know where the money goes Bedford.
FWIW that is pretty disrespectful to guys like Adam Sleigh who have been a stalwart of the club for many years for no cash. Maybe in the early days there were rumours but seriously who do you think they are paying? You dont like it when your mob gets accused of it - pot kettle black........You and I both know where the money goes Bedford.
I was flippantly referring to the Assumption part of the equation, Scribe.Think he means Prahran Ass AFC.

Usually speed and fitness wavers by the end of the season. In summary - the Ormond boys think they've won the flag (in May) after beating an undermanned St Marys outfit. They also have abusive supporters.
My tip for the GF - Kew v St Marys. Both sides will have too much youth, speed and fitness for Ormond later in the season
Some big margins there Bob, I reckon the Friars at home might get a tad closer
What do you have against Brian Aitken, Kew's coach? Coach of U18 and D3 Premiership sides in 2013 and D2 Premiership side in 2014. Sounds pretty impressive to me.Round 5 selections.
NOBS/StPats v Old Geelong. Oggers by a bit.
Bulleen Temp. v Kew. The Bears have yet to find their level in the current competition. Good news for a district club. I mean, for their long time members and supporters. Mr.Aitken aside.
Prahran v Ormond. Match of the round, nay, season I reckon. Close result is on the cards. Ormond win this and they are able to claim favourite status.
Old Mentonians v Yarra Valley Old boys. Get the job done.
Whitefriars v St Marys Salesian. The boys from Glen Iris are finding their limit in this division. Richo might shout me down for this. (Do I looked bothered?)
Of course I could wait for Clint McCoy's selections.
That sounds like the President Richie that you are referring to and he would only speak to an opposition person if they had crossed the line. Obviously she had crossed the line..What is going on at Ormond... One dickhead supporter felt the need to verbally abuse and get in the face of a female SMS supporter after she told him to shut up. Lucky he didn't get his head kicked in. Ormond's team was great in victory on Saturday, its a shame it was let down by the moron who is seen in the picture on the first post presenting a jumper to their new coach. The team has been great so far but everyone questioning their abilitiy to run out a season. Surely they will be fine. Chisolm and Coghlan seem very impressive for them so far. Chisolm too good over head and Coghlan way too good in the guts for most opponents.
Does anyone know what happened to Bulleen on the weekend...Did they get lucky on ANZAC day or are they capable of playing that standard consistantly. Cherbakof's 9 a fluke or what? Can take a grab but can he produce consistantly.
Are NOBS as good as everyone thought they would be?? They're balled mid whose name escapes me seems to be the only one who steps up every week.
Kew look to have the early jump on the competition but can they're team cut it against Ormond?? Feel like Brazzale and Cochrane will have to pull them over the line together. Both great players and can step up to the plate each week. Can't wait to see them both go head to head with Ormond.
Finally the big talking point is SMS. They looked dangerous early but have been woeful since. Everyone labelling them soft. Gary Purutatemi seems like a downhill skier for them from what I've seen. Jones, Dolan and Chipperfield seem to be the only ones who want it. Dolan a solid recruit from a Premier B club and consistantly finds the ball as he runs, and Jones and Chiipperfield great extractors but need outside help.
I know its early on but these are the teams with the questions marks I feel.
