The mighty OGGERS made short work of yet another contender. We just need to make to the big dance and get to C.

Can anyone confirm Prahran have been stacking their twos to qualify players? I heard certain older ressies players were pushing hard for it.

Bedders will have a good old chuckle when he reads this coming from OGGS. Just sayin.......

PEGS form has been impressive over the past month. 60 points, 60 points, 10 against Therry and 50 over St Marys. Close to full strength last week.. Coming into it nicely.

Few dead rubbers this week. Do teams rest players or go in full strength and not flirt with form? Therry v OM PEGS v OG. Pegs need to beat old Geelong by 150 to get to second which won't happen and St Mary's need a 160 point difference between winning and Therry losing.

IMO, if carrying an injury which would benefit from a week off, take it. Don't rest players to keep cards to chest - it always ends badly.

Play your best fully fit 22, play to win and take that form/confidence into the finals

WE are resting plenty. Last chance for skiing for a number of the lads.

Agree! We won't be full strength for that reason. Don't flirt with form.

Pretty sure teams are available now, so no secrets PEGS have about 7 of best 22 out. Just need them cherry ripe for finals.

I seem to posting the same thing each week. A half strength team did the job comfortably today as we prepare for our promotion game next week.

Another APS powerhouse on the move !! Go Oggs!

Pegs v Therry will be at St Bernard's. Should create a real derby type atmosphere, with the ground close to both teams.

Alright time to do a quick preview of the weekends games.

Old Geelong vs Old Mentone
2.10pm Elsternwick Park - Saturday

Key Players:
Old Geelong
Burbury
Wood
O'Brien

Old Mentone
Wilton
Edgeworth
Smith-Cameron

OG have had the Callum Wood over Old Mentone this season, winning their previous two encounters. And they have won 10 on the trot! OM were missing a few in R.17 according to the The Tragics and for some reason I think they may get over the line in a classic. Sending Geelong to their fifth consecutive prelim.

PEGS vs Therry Penola
2.00pm Bill Lawry Oval - Sunday

Key Players:
PEGS
Skurrie
Flaherty
Khallouf

Therry
Bannister
Bannister
Egglestone
Egglestone
Egglestone

This is a big case of who turns out for both sides. One Egglestone and one Bannister missed last week for Therry, so they should come back in an strengthen their team. And according to a few on here PEGS could have up to 10 ins! I'm tipping PEGS to do the job comfortably.
