We will get to 40,000. If it doesn't happen in the month which I hope to see, counting continues unofficially.

Not bad for a two team city with around two million people. Surely below par since its the main professional sport over there in the winter though.
Good for you.
Sorry for the intrusion haha, I didn't even notice it was the bulldogs board until you both replied!
(got to this thread by clicking "New Posts*, oops)
But yeah, true. Actually, our stadium size is probably the limiting factor (especially as people who join the waiting list now won't even get full memberships at the new stadium anyway)

It just came across real bad. We're excited to get to 40k *hopefully* and you post what you did, hence the defensive posts.

I live in Tassie and I know quite a few people who buy lolnorf memberships just for the free entry, they support other teams.
We shouldn't get too high and mighty about it though because it's going to be the same with us and the Ballarat Region.

The best thing about Ballarat is that it's only an hour or so by train to southern cross so while we might sign up a few members for the Ballarat games there is potential to turn them into home game memberships

Has anyone got any theories on why such a spike has occurred over the last two weeks or so ?
