So what does buying a membership achieve at this stage? There are two home games left (Norf and Collingwood). I don't know what the gate prices are but it's conceivable that a 3-game membership would be slightly cheaper and slightly more convenient than entry at the gate for those two games.

We know you don't get a membership pack (they're all gone). Does a 3-game membership get you a look in for GF tickets should we get that far? And as for getting guaranteed GF tickets, can you even buy a social club membership if you only have a 3-game membership?

The only other reasons I can think to be selling tickets at this stage are
(a) people "paying one forward",
(b) people buying a membership for themselves just to help out the club,
(c) people who want to maintain their continuity of membership record if they have been a member for a long time or
(d) some significant benefactor (like PG or BP) who is trying to get us over the 40k mark

I'm not being critical, just curious as to who would want to buy a season ticket in August...
I'd say there's a bit of a backlog as D4C mentioned but I reckon there's a bit of A and D going on too. We've tended to finish suspiciously just past our membership targets the last couple of years.

How shit is ticktek when trying to upgrade tickets>

Have to reload page every time if your not happy with the seats they picked

It's the same everywhere you have a monopoly provider. Customer service becomes secondary. (You'll do it OUR way or not at all.)

Yes you can but not at this time of the year. You'd have to get one as an add on for the 2017 season, which I'd highly recommend giving we'll be playing in the GF.

When upgrading tickets, trying to get level 2 wing. Is it just me or is it really hard to get them? Ticketek trying to sell me aisle 45
Wait till later in the week, better tickets get released later in the week, thursday or Friday

Priority to access to finals tickets as a general member as well. Now that we've locked in finals officially. Not much but it could tempt a handful into buying a membership.

I thought it all ended on July 30?

It's been mentioned as an official cut off, but when you think about it there's no reason they wouldn't accept memberships as long people are willing to buy them so late. As long as you're a member this season then it should really be included in the years count I reckon (but don't know if that's actually the case).
