What really upsets me about this whole Essendon thing is that in the last 3 years Paul Little (by the way what a ghastly man) and others (even Simon Madden) have stood up in public and said that they "believe" nothing harmful or illegal was given, and other words to that effect. When it came to the crunch, it seems they could not provide any evidence of what was given. They have probably fed this line to parents and players as well. Either they do know what was given and don't want it public or they don't have a clue what was given. In other words, they have lied, lied, lied all the way through.

I have read a few things suggesting that Essendon adopted an approach that proved tactically poor. I have not read anything that suggests Essendon adopted an unethical approach to getting out of an unethical situation. Anybody still at the club from the last 3 years needs to go (including board members). They are not just tainted from 2012, they are tainted from the last 3 years.

The Saints signing Carlisle was so stupid on their behalf. They should've stuck to their guns & either gotten him cheap or not at all, because they took him knowing this was a major possibility. For CAS to look at a case, there has to be a reaaaally compelling appeal. I can see why guys traded before then were done - because no one really knew what went on at the bombers, or how likely a ban was going to be.

I agree with the sentiment but the ABC have already confirmed that it is an unpaid interview.
