Story was that a presidents missus got stuck into another woman and it all escalated from there.. That club has major issues.. Doesn't matter how much money they throw about blokes won't play there because of the people running the show..

Agree think they and uni will be the big improvers in Div 2 Longford to be the improvers in Div 1
Deloraine haven't really picked up anyone have they? Whats the go with Riley has he gone?

Perth was in the middle of a function, Presidents wife king hit another Lady outside President dropped the microphone ran outside king hit one of the players who was trying to settle his wife down. all in brawl followed. Second fight occurred minutes later, after Shayden brown was hit with a front on cheap shot from a former reserves player. Shayden brown got a couple of head stomps on the same bloke after knocking him down. Brown boys left threatening to stab this bloke and Burn the club down.Several other minor scuffles continued, before dissipating and separating offenders. Happened in front of women and some children, which is the worst thing and I feel sorry for them. Bar was closed at the club Function was shut down. Very disappointing and another mark on the name of the club, where so few have worked so hard to try and restore it to its former glory. Some wonderful people behind the sense who have been left devastated by the events. President will have to take responsibility for starting it, and going to be hard to convince players and families to stay. Some of you may find this hard to believe but 90% of the people and players at the club are good people and not bogans, and most of the bogans have been recruited from other areas, out of desperation to try and get a few wins. Shows that a good culture is the important thing and, the direction club must head towards before players will want to come and play there, Hopefully not to late.

A good culture? Well doesn't help when your coach gives out cheap shots all game. Watched him Saturday and the blokes a dead set w***er. Matty Williams a "senior" player wouldn't be setting a good example for the young blokes either sniping blokes. Was sent off for one. And was always against the younger players.

Why do you think Longford? Who have they picked up? Sushames was the only one I have heard and lost a couple. Clinton black and Jono smart are huge losses

that would be a good place to start i know there were a couple of blokes considering going there from div 1 this year but decided against it because this pest wAs coaching.. And this seems to be a common theme.. Blokes won't go there to play under a guy who runs around the field hitting anyone that isn't looking or is under 20 years old..

I think it's more a case of every other club dropping off and loosing players that will improve longfords ladder position.. Almost every other club such as deloraine, bracknell and bridgenorth have lost players and are looking to fall away further from teams such as south and rocherlea

Agree and have heard good feedback on their performances thus far, young group that have been together for a couple of years starting to develop. Bridgenorth have lost the most you cant replace Savage, McCabe, Sellers(captain last year), O'Donoghue, Holloway, Campbell, Murfet & Nunn that easily and push for another GF??

Yep they will continue to improve every year as their young blokes get older. Their average age would be early 20's so in another 2 or 3 seasons they will be looking pretty good I'd say..
