They do. Fiba is very different to NBA. It exposes a lot of players footwork. Athletism while a factor isnt as important. We had baynes/Bogut who are both excellent at nullyfying bigs. Dj is going to wreck teams without a strong center pushing hin out of the paint.

As we saw. our wings are still soft. Melo torched us. In the NBA hes guarded within an inch and he'll still score 20. Put lower athletes on him and he looks like a god. Always does in Fiba. Average athlete who got by being the top handful of skilled NBA players.

I'd rather have blooded Ben Simmons over Broekhoff if it came down to it. He couldn't have possibly have given them any less than Broekhoff has so far. That is, of course, if Ben was available.

Probably because of his knee. At one point they were working on it while he was on the bench. The US commentators were talking about how he assured Dallas that he wouldn't push things and would shut himself down if his knee flared up.

Pfft, Broekhoff is 5 years younger and arguably better. Wasn't much splitting them last world cup. Certainly not an obvious swap. And obviously the Simmons thing is completely irrelevant as you've said yourself so not worth mentioning.
 
If we finish 2nd in the group that means we won't have to face USA again unless we make the gold medal game ... correct?
