Collingwood vs Richmond should be complete 50/50.

Don't think there is a favourite but looking at TAB odds Richmond 2.15 for Collingwood 1.70.

So I went on Richmond for the reasons that I've been impressed with there jlt and rnd 1 so far.

Collingwood although put up a fight against Bulldogs but I don't really think the Bulldogs were that good and Collingwoods forwardline is horrible.
Richmond has value and think they will get up. They should be favourites but anyhow I will take the juicy odds.

Anyone can look good compared to the wooden spooners.

Actually staying within a couple of goals of the reigning premiers is a significantly harder task.

Collingwood are shit. They don't deserve being made favourite here at all. Richmond are in a better position list wise then Collingwood. Better mids, better forwards, more mature list.

Didn't the pies get something like the top midfield ranking from champion data?

I'll come back here when Richmond win tonight.

Odds are great and if you dissect the teams overall, Richmond is a much better side and the value is great for tonight.

Geez you've changed your tune quickly! :p

If we are talking about the whole ground. Richmond have the better forwardline and defence aswell.

What's Collingwood got, seriously they will be floating down the bottom like last year. You take Pendlebery out of the game and they go to shit.

What Jessie White kicking the goals, ha come on, and you all come on here like your experts. Geez and Rance will wipe White or whatever shitty forward they have a new one.

Anyway you can't teach football common sense. There is a difference in the two teams and Richmond are in a better place list wise this year.

If that's the case why did you say it was a 50/50 game an hour ago then? o_O

I think the odds are the wrong way around and should not be in Collingwoods favour. Who makes the odds because that's pretty strange how it's come up like that.

I said 50/50 yes as a natural perspective it should be that given how early it is in the season both side don't deserve odds over each other.

Personally though I think as the season goes on Richmond will win more and be placed much higher then Collingwood on the ladder. This time at the end of the year those odds will be the other way around.

For now though Richmond are worth the odds.

Richmond absolutely melted as soon as pressure was applied. Weak minded team. Collingwood whike not as skilled, seemed to deal with pressure and dished it out better. I got on collingwood at $2 last week during the WB game.... still think its a good bet

Typical lose better behavior. Pick a side and then once the money is down the more they think about it the more they convince themselves their decision is genius

Wrong, if this was say a quality team GWS, Sydney, Eagles, Adelaide yeah putting money on Richmond over them would be stretching. Although I would never do something that stupid.

Think it's the other way around mate. I'm a natural supporter and Collingwood by no means are a great side. Think if anything your the one that's blindly convinced yourself that.

I only put $10 on a multi for a bit of fun.
But I do my research and the better rounded team is the Tigers. Sorry that it's upset you but Collingwood ain't that great.

If you are so certain of it why are you only putting them in a $10 multi?

While your argument makes sense I'd just urge a touch of caution. It would be very easy for him to read that and go "you're right" and put down more money.

While most of us here gamble in a controlled manner I think we have to becareful not to encourage others to gamble more than they otherwise would. Particularly those who aren't so wise with their bets.

To me it's a 50:50 game, but if Greenwood, Varcoe, De Goey, Elliott and Wells were playing it certainly wouldn't be. Both teams have meh back and forward lines, but if you added Elliott and Varcoe you add some scoring punch to Collingwood.

The difference at full strength is the midfield. Pendles, Treloar, Sidebottom, Adams, Wells and depth with Greenwood, Crisp, De Goey and others is outstanding.

Personally not a fan of that argument. While i do understand what you mean, no matter how certain you are that something will win, never put down more then you'd be willing to risk losing. #1 betting rule is that nothing is certain.

1U Taylor Adams Group 2 Fantasy @2.50 (SB)
(Group 2: Taylor Adams, Bachar Houli, Brandon Ellis, Will Hoskin-Elliott, Josh Caddy, Jeremy Howe, Jack Riewoldt, Josh Smith)

Most bookies have in him group 1 and one of the favourites for top scorer in the game. Some decent players in that group, but DT wise he's a level above the others imo.

Swans suddenly out to $2.90 on tabtouch post team announcements...but no significant new outs considering the large spike in price?
