I'll stick to single bets I have enough trouble picking 1 winner. Multis stacked with short priced favourites are a bookies best friend.

Maybe not stacked with shorties but doesn't any one play teasers where you multi a ~1.4 with a ~1.4 for ~1.96 odds? I do this sometimes mid season (up to 3 legs) and almost thought of doing it with the Dogs, Hawks and Saints this week as they looked pretty nailed on, but glad i didn't

By a goal or so IMO.

Not quite sure why the Saints are favourite against Collingwood. Etihad factor?

Not sure its the Saints 65% sr at Etihad last year but more about Pies 1/7.The pies have struggled there in recent times. The inclusion of Elliot this week and Daniel Wellls 50/50 is a nice boost combined with a 9 day break.

LOL @ Geelong $1.84 v Hawthorn at Sportsbet.

$1 million on the Cats please.

Hawthorn are cooked.
What are you gonna do with this? You can probably cash out for $250,000. You letting it ride or cashing out for a top of the range sports car?

West Coast have a 5 day break after one of the toughest games you'll face conditions wise. Hot in the first half then freezing and wet in the second
Exactly. The value lies with Sydney.

I can't imagine them starting 0-5.

Wary of bounce back factor with GC, Freo and Pies winning last weekend after all media scrutiny. Cats haven't shown enough to justify being that short IMO
Hawthorn are getting slammed in the media too. Just like Gold Coast and Freo got slammed last week.

Hawks will come out firing. Whether they win or not is a different story, but there is no way I am throwing anything on Geelong at those short odds, especially with Dangerfield's groin.

Also worth noting it has been 265 matches since the last draw. The average is one every 95 matches. Long overdue, could be worth backing the draw in close matches.
In addition to this, it has been 8325 days since the Adelaide Crows had their one and only draw in the AFL. This is the longest period of time any team has gone without playing in a draw.

Could be worth looking at Hawks first quarter line, or something like that.

I like where this is going....

It's been 22 years since Carlton won a flag and the average should be 1 every 18 years!!!! #value

I just flipped a coin 10 times. It landed on heads every single time. So I'm loading up on tails at short odds on the next flip. Long overdue IMO :drunk:
