Yeah really not sure on this pointsbet thing - over the last 2 weeks would have wrecked absolute havoc with bankrolls...

Yeah I've been interested in it but haven't used it yet. I've seen a few bets this year that I think look great, but not many (they're usually disposal or goal bets). I definitely don't think I'd use them for any sort of line, H2H, game total etc, the risk just seems too great. I'd rather a fixed stake with a normal bookie for those types of things.

$10 Paddy McCartin over 9 (Pointsbet)
$3 Hanners (-5) vs Billings (Pointsbet)
1U Newnes over Steele @1.80 (Crown)

Think Sydney just win. Almost the toughest tip of the round. Still unsure where the swans are at beaten only Brisbane and North off a big win which they seemed complacent with. Saints beaten a good Melbourne outfit round 1 (Not the best guide), played arguably the best footy in Perth vs eagles this year, beat GWS nicely in the end then a little complacent and lack lustre against the blues but got it together when required. Sydney lose this its curtains for a top 8 finish i feel.

So won $9 On Kennedy/Heeney below 203. Had $2 below 195 and $1 above 203 as worried about 2 big 140s from both ha

$123 win Hanners over Billings
$9 win with Kennedy/Heeney duo
1U Lost (Newnes got Injured but wouldve lost regardless i reckon)
$10 Loss with McCartin - Would be good if he could kick straight like he use to

All up a small win

Sounds like a good option for games where the downside is limited, but upside isn't. I've found it pretty easy to track certain teams performance, but others have been much more difficult.

Games like Port vs GC in China was a good example. It was highly likely Port would win easily, but also a good chance of a blowout if GC didn't turn up.

Betting against last years beaten grand finalist just as they are coming into form and getting their best team back. Not so much...

If your looking ahead to next week WC look amazing value vs GWS (-6.5). WC are near unbeatable at home and are in pretty good form.

GWS do not travel well, have a mountain of injuries (add Devon Smith), have key backs missing, several players sore (Lobbe) and older players like Stevie J might get a week off from travelling. If they lose anymore players they're going to really struggle.

Popped a bonus bet on WC 40+.

How the **** does that work? Now you owe some ****** like 5 grand? Sounds Illegal.
Max win and max loss are stated for confirmation at time of placing the bet and max bet/loss value is based on your account balance. Used it a couple of times but yeah it can be super risky as the bets sound alot better than they usually are...use your own judgment and only place small value wagers until you get comfortable as to how it all works...

Honestly if you want to do spread betting, don't even start with small wagers, run a small simulation of whatever you would have bet for a couple of weeks to get a feel for it, and to understand how brutal it can be....
