I've got Ablett in my team atm. I have a rule for players that are 30+ years old and have had injuries. Either start with them or don't pick them at all. I've always done it like that and it always seems to work well.Is anyone seriously considering Gaj? I wasn't but am worried starting without him and he is in my team ATM. BEST SC PLAYER EVER! But he is getting long in the tooth. How much fwd time will he play? Is he fully over his injury? Will Rocket want to get some kids in the guts to develop? I still think he will predominantly play in the midfield but the element of risk is high. He could be a unique player to start with this year.

A few years ago no one started with Hodge because he was old and injury prone. He started on fire, everyone bought him in and he gets injured. Costs two trades. I resisted bringing him in and it worked out well.
I started with Boyd last year fully expecting to have to trade him at some point, he held up his end of the deal and only missed two games. This year I'll (most likely) pick Ablett and Hodge fully expecting to have to trade them out at some point.
I just don't want to be in the position where Ablett averages 125 before his bye, I bring him in and he bangs his shoulder again.
I don't think anyone doubt he'll go 120+ when he's on the park.
Yeah with Fyfe back, Neale is no longer a starter...
will get him next year when Bitchmond pay overs for Fyfe....

I remember Boyd being super annoying at the start of last year. Just looked up his month. 96, 74, 78, 86. That's not as bad as I remember. Helps that he then went 121, 120, 121 straight after it.I have the same rule, Boyd last year was frustrating the first couple rounds but then became a star when the doggies lost a few down back.
I have the same rule too......now!I have the same rule, Boyd last year was frustrating the first couple rounds but then became a star when the doggies lost a few down back.

Jelwood lads.I'm trying to find a way to get jelwood
Gaj might be fwd a bit too I reckon. GC need to develop their next generation of mids. Mind you, he could probably kick 60 resting fwd!

Adelaide's second best midfielder. Hopefully his foot injuries are a thing of the past.Anybody thinking of starting Brad Crouch?
He's a definite no for me, but I'm just curious to see if there any brave folk around
At $470k you'd want at least a 105 average
Liking this so far, long way to go.
It still depends on Mid Rookie studs, byes and prices.
