So looks like every team won again. Yay!!
I don't think
Bear
Kansas City
Did well

I also think Jets and Seahawks still have questions

I don't think Denver's draft was particularly special either.

Also think people are overrating the Browns

San Fran the clear winners for mine

Also doing well with UDFA
Why do you think 49ers any better than Browns?

Bears big losers to me. How can they risk so much on a guy who has played so little. Plus one or two head scratchers on day 2

Personal preference

Kittle and Witherspoon are personal favourites

Not a Kizer fan

Fair enough. Kizer at 52 makes far more sense than Trubisky at top dozen in regards to value/risk. Like his arm too and Jackson is a guy who could fix the technical issues.

Sorry I didn't mean to make it sound like I thought they had a bad draft by any stretch, but people are talking like they've fixed all the problems and I don't see it

This will turn out to be a good draft as opposed to all the recent drafts we've had where the picks get hyped and turn into busts

I'm fine with the draft, but we reached for Bolles who I think will be a pleb

As much as he seems like a reformed character and has embraced family and religion , I think I see beneath the façade a good ole boy. Will be more interested in being part of the show rather than making it. But who knows now

Quote me in 5 years ;)

Doubt it takes 5 years

He is borderline vegetable listening to him talk and he lacks strength

Patriots probably had the best draft.

Traded a 32 for Cooks who went in the 20s. Traded a 64 for Ealy who is probably a 1st round talent. Got Gilleslee for a 4th. Couple back-up TEs for late rounders. And drafted one really good OT and two really good Edge prospects.

In effect, the Patriots draft has been the following:
  1. Trade Round 1 for Brandin Cooks.
  2. Trade Round 2 for Kony Ealy.
  3. Trade back into mid Round 3 for Derek Rivers, DE.
  4. Trade forward into mid Round 3 for Antonio Garcia, OT.
  5. Lost highest Round 4 pick thanks to Mein Fuhrer.
  6. Traded Round 4 for Dwayne Allen, TE.
  7. Drafted Round 4 Deatrich Wise, DE.
  8. Parted with Round 5 for Mike Gillislee, RB.
  9. Trade Round 5 for James O'Shaughnessy, TE.
  10. Traded forward into Round 6 for Connor McDermott, OT.
I'm not a huge immediate winner-loser guy but the Patriots gained a ready made stud Wide Receiver, a starting Defensive End, #2 Tight End, potential starting RB, #3 TE and special teams players and serviced pass rush and pass protection needs. To say I am pleased would be an understatement. Of the draft picks, I'm very excited about Rivers and Garcia and somewhat optimistic about Wise.

Kony Ealy will probably be turned into a superstar at the Patriots but he's no starting DE. He certainly wasn't at Carolina and they're desperate for young defensive ends.
You're welcome to that opinion but you don't give up a second round pick for a depth player. If the Pats play a 43 front, it'll be Flowers - Branch - Brown - Ealy. Then again, you could be right and it could be Lawrence Guy but for now, I've penciled him in as a starting DE.
