Think the falcons are better of starting penix jnr for the remaining games and put kirko ice. Great way to evaluate where he is at and how far he is from starting.

I know they are fighting the bucs for the div title, but they arent going to do anything but make up the numbers in the post season. That's the ceiling with kirk, better off accelerating penix's development .

not just that but he lost all speed when he runs. He scrambled in the 2nd Q and it looked like Peyton Manning

Surely they need to move to Penix and see how he is going so they know what to work on in the offseason

Not just that but at least he gives the opposition something to worry about with the deep ball. Might open up the run game a bit. There is literally no downside to playing him. Would have been a good game to give him tonight vs the lowly Raiders.

Kirk is stuck there for another year. Dead money isnt bad after next season, but $65m if they try and move him in the offseason

But should be an overpaid back up next season. no need to start him unless Penix has regressed and even then might still offer more then Kirk

thats a massive bust on the punt block. and Vikings punter lucky not to get hurt having his foot stuck on the helmet of the Bears guy like that. could of done a string easily like that.
