Good to hear the boys are nice and loud, one thing I noticed last year was a lack of voice compared to the training session I saw of Geelong in the same year.

The discussion was about who will be captain, not "which players are you supporting or not". If Rockliff is on the field in a Lions guersney he has my support, so shelve the strawman.

Maybe, just an an experiment, you could try a post without prefixing it with some variation of "here's what I think sucks about Bigfooty today" and then bemoaning the fact that no one wants to play with you.

I think the only personal grudge Leemas exposed there was the one between you and Rockliff. What'd he do? Block you on Twitter?

No but you and the other bleaters (not that I am calling you personally a bleater)have seen the conversation over many months. the club tried to trade him out. He tried to go. NO other team wanted him even at a discount, does this not make you think the discussion about him being a tool might be true?

There is no way he will be captain, accept it and move on.

It's like saying Rolf Harris isn't a sexual predator because he never personally fiddled with you.

It's an analogy, get over it.

I am calling out the same bleaters who bitch about people joking around and not talking football, but run out the same bulls hit nearly every post.

If you can't look at the weight of evidence and come up with a coherent conclusion, well then I don't know what more to say.

There is a massive amount of evidence all is not well with Rocky, however none of that evidence individually has ever been the indisputable black and white type of evidence that removes the subjectivity from the conversation.

That said, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that when a club releases a formal statement that a player will be staying mid-trade period, that there must have been at least some sort of goings on behind the scenes.

I suspect until the highly unlikely occurs (Rocky or the club comes out and says 'yeah it's all true' or the much more likely (Rocky leaves at the end of the year) then the subjectivity will remain.

For me it is clear there is a problem and in all likelihood he will leave at the end of the year, but ask me to point to one single piece of evidence that indisputably backs that up, and I can't. While that's the case there is always the possibility that others will see what they want to see and interpret the evidence differently.

Who said anything about "inside knowledge" apart from Leemas looking to paint a "I know something you don't know" angle that wasn't there. Mission accomplished I guess.

When I said "finger on the pulse" I was referring to everything (that other posters have since mentioned) that was there for all to see over the list management period. I am genuinely surprised that after that incredible sequence of events people are still able to convince themselves that everything with Tom is AOK and then his leadership standings have not diminished in any way.
