Nah....Just pointing out how by every other measure, Burton's season was clearly superior to & on another level in comparison to all the other Rising Star nominees....With the one exception of the actual Rising Star award count itself.

You've gotta have a sense of humor about it.....It doesn't get any more obvious that the fix was in on this one.
A fix - and what possible purpose would it be fixed for McGrath!!

By all the parameters this year, it certainly seems to have become nothing less than chook lotto.
It went to the best young player of the year, like it does every year.

Burton was runner up, no shame in being second fodder to McGrath
 
Did he even make the Top 15 I wonder?...And Burton standing out in a mediocre side is even more of an argument for him winning it!:)
He didn't stand out, he wasn't even as good as your shit ruckman and fat ex captain.
