Nothing really, but I take interest in reading what the fans say on each club's forum and none hardly have them in the best 25.

To be fair they are norf numpties but it makes you think...they should know
To be fair they think their still in contention.

We both know their in rebuild mode..

So I'm currently running with Gawn Sandi and Witts as the emergency.

I know its a lot of $$$ to have on the bench but i figure Witts will earn me $$$ at the very least and good replacement should Gawn or Sandi miss a game or 2 through injury.

I'm not going Nank or Ryder in the FWD line FWIW.

Thoughts???

With a lack of viable rookies this year is there a necessity to have as much money making opportunity as possible? What I am getting at is should more people be running with Witts at R3 as the best perform rookie option on that line?

Every year I start with a premo , mid range and rookie. Then every year I revert back to two premo rucks quickly wasting trades. and I'm going to do it again.
I'm stoopid.

Goldy / Sandi / Witts for me. Can anyone tell me what Kreuzer has averaged the last 2 years when he's been fit?
OK, including 2015 this time. In terms of average when fit, I suppose you could take rds 13-23 2015. 95 average, varying setups in terms of 2nd ruck.
Given durability concerns and with other options with similarish projected output priced cheaper, not for me. But others clueier than me seem keen on him.

Love your work.

Be careful though. There's a known link between intensively studying a player and making an astute pick and said player getting ironed out in the first 5 minutes of the season

Why do I keep putting rucks in my team when I don't want them? I wake up and find Sandi, Nank and Ryder are in my team. No. You are all traps! All the rucks are traps! No injured players. No mid price break out players. Choose for role. Must choose Grundy and Witts. Must put them back in and keep them. Gritts.

Sandi and Ryder arent mid price 'break out players' - they are fallen premos
Nank is a mid price break out player - Steele is a mid price break out player

may have to overturn my vow of never picking Witts ever. the lack of rookie options elsewhere makes him a juicy proposition....

if I was picking Witts (which i have now), id be starting him at R2. 217k is a lot to be on the bench and he could churn out 80-90s quite comfortably

You will once again regret selecting Witts at R2

why? due to the lack of decent rookies elsewhere (who knows, some more may pop up out of the blue), Witts' price and role makes him a juicy proposition to make 120-150k before his round 9 bye

he has a reasonably rough run up to his bye
Martin
Mumford
McEvoy
Kreuzer
Jacobs
Goldy
Smith
Ryder

but if he can get 80 against Mumford, Goldy and get 90 from the rest, thats all I'm looking for

Lots of hoping and preying there for Witts .......don't think a rookie R2 ever works ? ....you're hoping for 80's & last year my side was destroyed when Gawn and Goldy were knocking out 170's with (C) on them .....and i had reliable Nic Nat knocking out respectable scores of 100

Blicavs at R2 worked in 2013

but please name me 3 starting defence rookies with good JS
2 mid rookies with good JS
and 3 fwd rookies with good JS

I am ensuring i only have 2 forward and defensive rookies on the ground .....think it's high risk to have 3 rookies on the ground, as there's not a lot behind the top rookies, should 1-2 get injured?

Mids, i only have one on-field rookie (SPP) plus lots of dual position rookies that can be played either mid / forward .....Parfitt IMO is a lock and dual position

URGH, rucks are now doing my head in

dont want Witts at R3 as it is too much to be on the pine. but Gawn/Sandi have good starts to the year....
