Actually feeling decently confident considering the way we dismantled Melbourne. Before the game I was thinking if we made the granny Collingwood would be strong favourites, but feel it's a 50/50 now. Recent history shows it's whoever turns up on the day.

Nah. They haven't copped 37 years of shit, 3 hilariously heartbreaking losses in finals (all for different reasons) after a massive drought, and then suffered 3 hilariously heartbreaking losses in a row earlier in their flag year.
Tigers fans were just a dam wall waiting to be unleashed with all the shit they've copped. Eagles fans have been here done that quite recently and been well run, they won't have the same reactions. Maybe just a lot of bumping of people who tipped them for bottom 4.
I think Pies and Eagles fans will both be reasonable in comparison to the drought breaking Doggies and Tigers fans, understandably.

Think of it this way: the crowd on GF day will be a lot less pro Magpies than round 17. Surely that gives some confidence? We'll have plenty behind us.
It is going to be difficult for them. People underrate how big an advantage it is for MCG teams to play on the MCG in a grand final.
