We’re about to start our third season and have 1 team free.

We try to make it realistic - have squads of 44 and you have to play key forwards and key backs each week.

Hey guys, how many games do you guys think Archie Smith will get this year? I'm considering picking Stef Martin, but his fantasy scores decrease dramatically when Smith plays. Thoughts?

I'm an insider here at the club and I can confirm he is unlikely to get any games due to "attitude problems". Nothing bad enough for him to lose his contract but don't expect it to get renewed or him play any games this year.

Interesting. Considering in October which was only 4 months ago, despite still having a year on his contract, he was extended to 2020. So did we sign him up knowing his "attitude problems", or has his attitude completely fallen apart in just a few months?

By the way, if I wasn't being clear: I call BS.

I think at the bare minimum he will make you 150K mate. Seemed to pull up ok after the AFLX. Absolute lock for me at that price.

Obviously being a number one pick he will be fast tracked into the side somewhat. Is he likely to see decent midfield minutes, or be stuck in a mainly forward role like McCluggage was when he debuted

I'd expect this year him to play mainly forward. Luggage will get more mid minutes before Rayner does, he might get some small pinch hit minutes from time to time

I'd take a look at how Petracca did in his first year on the park, as they play similarly I'd expect - medium forward with a small amount of midfield minutes.

Just an off day, kicking in particular was terrible. He certainly wasn't on his own there though.
He did play at half back though.

Doing what he has to to be ready to go for round 1.
No set backs, but will be managed through the rest of his time in the game.
Will be ready to go for round 1 hopefully, after the death of his Father last week.

Knee problems of past present and future which will need to be managed throughout the rest of his career.
I believe he has had a good pre-season though. And done all asked of him.
