Overall a good fixture - only one Sunday twilight is great and the number of Friday and Saturday night matches are encouraging.

Also good that we're playing the two likely bottom teams in rounds 1 and 2 so important to get off to a good start and build some momentum

Not the easiest of draws though - hopefully we can win at least 11-12 games next season

Shit games for the gate. 7 home games against low attendance sides. 4 against decent sides.

No point having good time slots if they're against low drawing opponents

Shit MCG exposure. Only 2 games again. We've seen how important MCG exposure is with Richmond.

Not an easy draw either.

Last 4 rounds look very winnable which could prove vital.

Essendon being the danger if their new players gel.

Overall I don't mind it at all. Not the easiest, but not the hardest.

Other than Essendon who else would you want to host?

We play Collingwood, Richmond, Carlton and Hawthorn all at home, as well as Melbourne and the Dogs which should be decent drawing matches. We have the Pride Game against Sydney. From where I stand that's pretty bloody good.

Half our games are prime time slots, what the ****???? Is this what it's like to be Collingwood?
To say I'm surprised at that is a huge understatement.......did not expect all those prime time slots after our year this year....thought we'd lose a few ......a very good outcome.

Typically we play 16 in Victoria every year and then 6 interstate trips with two of those interstate trips to the same state.

Taken a shot at who would make up those 16 and then the 6 trips interstate...
