Reckon Sloane back will help Crouch. Thoughts Wayne's-World ?
 Maybe ?...........IMHO the Bye will be the best thing to happen .....regroup, get some team training ....and yes get 3-4 players back that everyone's familiar with their playing style .....a bit more predictability of ball movement will help Crouch

He wasn't being tagged .......it was just the system broke down.....the coherency

Two biggest players missed .....Laird & Smith

Treloar :( :(

Can see the headline already...

Treloar returns for finals, gets best on ground in every match, wins the Norm Smith and a premiership medal!

JJK:
"It’s looking probably like the GWS game or the Collingwood game (in round 17).”

Not looking promising. Might turf him

Freakist injury ever. I can't recall any athlete doing both hammy's at the same time before. The closest thing to this that I can think of was when Vince McMahon (legit) ripped both his quads running into the ring at the end of the 2005 Royal Rumble.

Bautista, what a specimen

Poor Barlow - can't catch a break.

Senior Gold Coast midfielder Michael Barlow is suffering from Bell’s palsy syndrome as he continues his recovery from a nasty injury in the NEAFL.

The syndrome – which is a paralysis of the muscles on one side of the face – came about after some nerve endings were damaged in Barlow’s face due to the incident in the reserves.

Club medicos are confident that the syndrome will subside in the coming weeks and shouldn’t have too big an impact on his recovery from a broken jaw.

Barlow played out the rest of the game against Southport in early June after the injury and even trained early the following weak before scans confirmed a fracture.

Barlow consequently had surgery where a plate was inserted in his jaw.

Bautista, what a specimen
Haha, when my kids were younger I used to do the "Bautista Bomb' on them onto the couch or bed. Youngest loved it. I remember after the 2008 GF I was smashed and was running around Bautista Bombing my then 5 year old all over the place. The wife was horrified!

Probably not overly SC relevant but GC Tom Lynch out for the year... Open the door for any rookies??
