I'm guessing that's the first time old mate has seen a camera by the look on his face?

Far from it. I think he might be perplexed by being made to wear a bib while not even on solid food.

Congrats Ben, very happy for you mate. :hearts:

Cheers again mate!

+400 in a day, wonder what happened there?
I got a call yesterday from the membership team to see if I still wanted to upgrade my membership to Platinum because Id put a request in for the 2016 season. Possibly they were doing some other calling around as well and that has something to do with it.

That would make sense if people hadn't already paid for part of their lower cost membership. I know that a lot of the wait list to go from unreserved seat to reserved seat was processed this month, but that would only be included in some of that 400 if they hadn't paid for any of their lower cost membership prior to the upgrade.

They probably just did a late-to-renew call-around at the same time as the upgrade call-around.

I buy raffle tickets every year, but this year I'm not. The reason? That ****ing company has rung me 12 ****ing times! It really has annoyed me. I'm not buying them this year. **** off. If anyone from the club reads this, 3 or 4 times is enough. I may never buy then again. Yes I know people will say that you are hurting the club not buying them, but seriously, if you haven't answered after the 4th attempt, maybe give it a rest? It's pretty clear that they are not interested.

lol - as I was reading your post my phone rang, but it was the "Windows Department". I told her I buy windows from the club every year, but I'm sick and tired of them ringing all the time, so no more windows for me - **** off!

I’ve given my $60 donation again this week.

The club has announced the timing to be able to buy GA tickets and upgrade tickets for this season. Looks like they have dropped the price a fair bit for some upgrades. There have been some changes made to the member pre-sales tickets and pricing in 2018 in response to member feedback. In the article there is a table with all the relevant dates for each home game.

ON-SALE dates and prices for daily tickets to Port Adelaide’s home games at Adelaide Oval in 2018 have been confirmed. Tickets will go on sale approximately four weeks prior to each home game, with prices starting from $35^ for adult general admission entry - a price that’s been held since 2015.....There have been some changes made to the member pre-sales and ticket pricing in 2018 in response to member feedback.

General Admission Members
Port Adelaide general admission members will again receive a one-day priority access period from 9am-5pm (by entering their 12-digit barcode on the back of their membercard) to provide the first opportunity to book reserved seats. Essential Power Members
Essential Power members can still book reserved seats in the Western Stand and purchase up to four (4) guest passes a game by entering their 12-digit barcode on the back of their member card.

Reserved Seat Members
Club 1870, Black Diamond, Platinum, Gold and Silver reserved seat members are now able to access the member pre-sale from 1pm-5pm to purchase additional tickets for friends and family.

Yeah they need to shop for another mob to do those calls. They are pushy and just generally shit to talk to.

That said, because they are so shameless I wouldn't be surprised if they get good results.

I'm with ya Papa, I can't stand that shit, I get called 3 times a year and never buy any, and whilst that's not much, it's inconvienent and it makes you feel guilty as hell.
