It would have to be Withers over Rayner if they were to get one this week. Rayner was a bit down on performance this week
Reckon Witherden gets it this week, played a decent game but has also constantly been in the top performers of the eligible nominees each week. A good story for the Lions to cap off their first win.

He has been suspended - he can't win it.
Stephenson is my clear favorite at this stage, being a first year player helps.
Naughton is gun but is injured and that will cost him. Could easily have been top 3 if he played all 22. Could be still if he plays out the season after he returns.
The others not in the race atm, IMO.

Young Jake Waterman with 4 goals assists against the Tigers. Is playing pretty well.
He is very good. Impact per possession is remarkably high for a player so young.
After by all reports a poor preseason, I think Witherden is starting to hit his straps and will pull away in the second half of the season. He probably needs to develop his defensive game more, but he could be recognised as one of the best attacking half back flankers in the comp already by the end of the year.
He is one of the best kicks in the comp after only playing 18 games.

Yeah I like Waterman. I think it’s out of him and Stephenson atm.
