Equally excited about watching this weeks VFL game on TV after last week, it was superb football to watch and all the guys on the park have great potential, North AFL games I'm nervous and hoping we don't choke or when we don't kick efficiently, North VFL games are just very relaxing, I dno why maybe it's because the stakes aren't as high, and it's just nice to watch these guys develop.

We're in an exciting time right now to be a North fan, we're dawning a new age here of likely success.

Yes, it's worth highlighting that this week is another televised game on ch 7 (added to the thread title). Bonus!

Big increase is possession numbers this week.

Most of our guys actually got their hands on the ball. It makes all the difference. Aherns ranking points seem way off, given impact, possie numbers, I50's and goal assists. Would of had 130+ in the other format.

A video I've put together of our marking on Saturday.

Larkey is going to be some player.

Superb by Will Walker @ 0:35. Superb.

Have we ever had this much key position depth?

We have the Coleman leader and the Frosty Miller leader, one of the best KPDs in the comp, productive veterans in Waite and Thompson, a genuine swingman in Daw, and then McKay, Preuss, Nielson and Durdin in the VFL, plus the developing Xerri. And Wood/EVW as medium types who can play tall.

We can basically afford to chase premium mids for the next 2-3 years.

Yeah of course it will.

There's no rush with him, he's heir apparent to Waite, who looks like possibly going on in 2019 given his form.

Larkey will be cherry ripe in 2020, I'd hate to see what he will do to the VFL next year if he stacks on another 5-6 kg's.

Love the way he goes about it and his development is on a steep upwards trajectory.

However, is he to similar to Brown. Can the two work in the same forward line?

I can’t wait to see them tested together next year.

Did TG get injured or what? Some saying he went off at half time, that video says otherwise.

So felt tight and went off.

Some folks acting like he's torn it off the bone.
He was really striding out well at some points too. Hopefully just precautionary.

People had retired him before he got his shorts off. It's the BF way.

Yes, the BF way of delist Garner, put Ziebell up for trade and move Preuss out for a second rounder just coz.

Hey, it could get us pick 23 in the draft!

Hey guys, had a bit of time on my hands and was thinking about off our season.

The way I see it, we need to trade Cunnington will he still has currency and bite the bullet on Simpkin who has shown a bit but no en...

(Continues for 38 steps as Teff describes)

... so with Brown getting AAs in his new role at CHB and Darling playing as a gut running outside mid, whoever we draft with our pick 2+5+9 gained from the Vickers-Willias trade slots in to the forward line.

Some of North Melbourne's best young talent will be in action at VFL level on Saturday, with 20 AFL-listed players named.

The Roos' VFL team will take on Sandringham at Trevor Barker Beach Oval, hoping to win its third game in succession.

The full 31-man squad, presented by Intuitive Finance, is available below.

20 Afl listed players named. Good god.

I tell you what, having the best injury list in... forever? came at a decent time. Might have preferred it during 2016 but lets not go there...

That kind of availability has to be great for getting the VFL team, and more importantly playing our gameplan there, off the ground.
