Ola to score a dozen from corners this year. Be interesting to see where he will play, also we have one international spot left (would love to get an Asian player) and still no word on Troisi coming or going? We also have a marquee spot available.

I don't see a long term approach to our latest spate of new signings. What are we all going to do when they demand either a pay rise or demand to leave after their 1 year deals expire at the end of the season?

I believe 1 year deals should only be for top high profile marquee players like Honda.

In fairness, Poulsen is older than Methusela, a one-year deal is pretty pragmatic.

I tend not to look at the age as much as I look at how much football they have played the last few seasons:

Jakob Poulsen (36): 2018/19 - 45 Appearances
Kristijian Dobras (26): 2018/19 - 21 Appearances
Tim Hoogland (34): 2018/19 - 32 Appearances

Poulsen played a hell of a lot of football last year, he is going to be able to handle the A League where we play once a week no problems. I am really excited to watch him play.

With the one year deals I think it's just a by-product of the League with salary cap and squad number restrictions.

He did last time round. Makes sense for him to stay and the European window is closed so no joy there for him. Believe he is expecting a baby so that probably counts out moves to the middle east or china.

I’d only take triosi back if he went elsewhere for a year at least first. Then we bring him back.
