Rivers has that assuredness with the ball in his hands that I like. More than happy to take him.

Rantall is a ball magnet and has elite endurance. Get his kicking right (is it too late?) then he could be excellent value. What pick would you use? 24?

Wouldn't mind both or either of those two, just see a heap of upside.
Rantall really impresses me with his natural adaption to footy from elite basketball.
Fantastic athlete but hard and tough inside as well.
Nice size mid at now 185cm and not a skinny kid either.

Rivers to me seems like a young Duncan type..of course no one is exactly the same..

Who said he can't kick? Honestly some of this stuff, his de atm will improve but remember he's disposing from inside situations alot of times.
If you see his video you'll also find he kicks long and goals on the run.
He's going to be fine in that department better than many on our list atm.

Mate no personal offense to you, but believe what you want, look at his CV as it stands, it's the best in the draft, none of the others have done what he's done in senior footy.
He's captained his state squad, was BOG for them in carnival games and was awarded by a 2nd All Australian selection.

Toomey's an AFL operative l wouldn't give any credence to anything he says only the basic obvious.

Im only reporting what a professional commentator has mentioned...

Imo.. It only takes one club to pick him ..17 clubs might think he is i the 30's and if one rates him 14 then he goes at 14. Its like the commentry about Bryan... its not really critical that he is worth 36 ... if 36 is our last pick and we want him then thats what he gets picked at. So atm ... not sure how many picks Gold Coast are going to have but if the want him with their 4th pick it would be 20 something etc.. And the clubs do get a feel where they think players will go. So being picked in the R1 ..doesnt mean that you a universally accepted top 18 talent..

Id say its less about be gull and more about being a mixed messages form the clubs he is talking too ....some clubs saying in the 40's but some are saying 20's.. so it depends on if the 20's clubs align to having a pick in the 20's.

I think all those financially involved in extending the competition across the country are interested in interstate teams remaining on top of the pile.
Hence l couldn't care what crap this guy spreads about potential elite draftees with runs on the board like Gould.
What he did or didn't do will mean 2 parts of stuff all when they line up for their first pre season games.
I think their trying to build up Port Adel after a good draft last year they'd love Gould.

I've penciled him in for a rising star, he won't be there at P24 because Adelaide have P23, so it's imperative that we either use P14 or P17 and no later.

Because you seem to be personally having a go at a lot of posters who simply place him in a different spot in the draft order. But thats a sidepoint to this thread so i'll leave it there.

I never get personal, just comment on my man, actually at times l start by saying nothing personal,(when talking to fellow supporters) obviously you don't agree with me and that's fine, but you're just plain wrong.
