In the NAB ad with the kids as creepy footballers - who is the Geelong one supposed to be? Had a half shaved head with the rest in bogan dreadlocks.
Not that it means anything (because the front runners are too far ahead) but Yeo is double his predicted total on the AFL site at the halfway mark.

Just checked the votes. Fyfe leading the way is hysterical. Was Freo’s second best player all year (Walters) and their third best in the opening stretch (Walters/Hill). This award means less and less every year, good bantz umpiresz

Positive of Fyfe winning here is it undermines any and all Fremantle tears about Priddis’ Brownlow. Matt Priddis, now moves up to second least deserving Brownlow medallist in WA footy

He absolutely did, I’m talking from a Purps perspective. If the Priddis one was a sham then there’s no defending this one.
I'd prefer Fyfe over Danger tbh, but apparently I'm in the minority here.

Because you cant judge a game that well while concentrating on umpiring. I know that from experience. So they end up giving votes to the guys they see most often. In the last decade its always won by big disposal players regardless of their impact on the game.
I'm torn. I think it makes the rest of the cats look worse that they've essentially wasted the talent that is dangerfield so in that sense I'd rather him. But I think Fyfe is probably better at his best.
Exactly. Thought Cripps was going romp home polling 1s and 2s in big losses, but Fyfe is getting 2s and 3s in games he shouldn't be polling in.

Yeah was thinking the votes were irregularly high for where we are at so far. Just doesn’t seem right.
You can hate Fyfe/Freo/AA Captain/whatever, but Fyfe's objectively had an excellent season.
Walters started very well and then tapered out, Fyfe has been v.consistent all year in a diabolically bad team.
