Tozer was injured and Wischart would not be out of place but as a full forward has a lot of competition.

A back man like Moseley could also make it at the expense of one of the three mids I mentioned as they would be up against the likes of Green and O'Neill for a position

If anyone is interested, I covered the top players in my most recent episode of Lystics AFL Podcast.

Draft Power Rankings and Mock Draft Pre-Finals Edition
"We love the draft, and are so used to having both of our teams eliminated by this time of year, but even though they've made finals, we wanted to do something for all the fans of clubs that have missed finals and are turning their attention to the offseason. He'll cover our Power Rankings, some bidding and trading options, and finish up with a mock draft."

What’s the early thoughts on the top 5 of this group?

So over all the SA kids for 19 are not as good or as deep as this year. Three of the better ones are tied to academies and F/S.
How do the other states 19 crop compare to this year?

Brodie Kemp is a top 5 talent and proved it again against Murray today
He just seems to be one of those players that always seem to be in the right place to get involved in the play, looks a tantalising prospect at his size and skill set.

Tall midfielder with speed and smarts who can also play down back and go forward. Has top 5 written all over him, his defensive stuff is inconsistent but that’s to be expected from bottom agers.

I’ve seen the list of 25 who have been invited by AFL Victoria (ie. from the TAC Cup) to play in the Futures (u17/bottom age) curtainraiser on AFL grand final day.

There’s plenty of names you’ve missed here. Seven from one TAC program in fact ;)

The list should be made public pretty soon, I’m hoping to see some names of players I haven’t had a chance to watch yet.

i have seen limited games of TAC Cup, i've seen more of some TAC Cup teams than others, so when i see some of the southern teams play who have supposedly strong programs i'll make a judgement call on them then, thats why i have more to come during the finals series, this is a work in progress :p

when i see the top 4 teams play im sure i'll add more kids to this list (this is based on championship form, some games of TAC Cup ive seen and some highlights) the finals series will complete my initial list i think.

the kid has elite speed, good x-factor and can play, i dont care about disposals and stats when a player is quality, he made an impression on me when i watched him kick 2 goals and play at a high level with limited game time in the Western Jets Vs Eastern Ranges final today.

that is my reasoning.

I hope someone's told Pete Francis about this one.

I've heard the 25 you're talking about are the invitees to the Academy, have you heard the same? If so, shows how far off us amateurs are most of the time. Plenty of development left n most of the list, which isn't always the case with the more influential players at this age.

Not as far as I aware. It would be outrageous for one program to have 8 top age members of an Academy (be it state based of otherwise), when several others have zero or 1.

With the proposed changes to the Academy, as previously outlined, still 5 or so VM players to be added plus 2019 bottom agers to get to the 30 quoted for the VM Academy. The list of 25 that you quoted, has 15 VM and 10 VC from what I can gather.

It certainly does
