Can’t believe so many have this guy slipping so far down based on an ACL. Top 6 prior to that injury. Think someone will pick up a bargain just not us unfortunately

Just saw the latest phantom from fox sports has him going to the cats @ 16. I wonder if he was still on the board @ 15 we'd try do a swap with the dogs. They have a gun academy kid coming through next year so might need some points.
He is vanilla as it gets. Jack Graham is a better player lol.

Don't agree. It's just that the Dons are crap. McGrath is a gun. Would be a star for us.
I have no doubt he'd be better under our development system but as for him being a gun, I just don't see it. Has no real weapons. Small and not blessed with pace. Gets cheap touches off HB but doesn't do any damage with them. For a number one draft pick he is very average imo. I honestly wouldn't swap him for Graham who we took like 50 picks later.

Not saying he's without his flaws, I just think he's flaws are being overblown and ignoring what he's good at. I don't think we'll go for him but I think he'll be a bargain for whoever gets him.
He'd thrive in our environment and would form a great defensive partnership with Balta for the next decade.
Gonna be an exciting and unpredictable draft night.

In that case, absolute no brainer for them... Wouldn't rule out Port Adelaide getting in first as he's a local.
Poort probably have others lined up with their 1st 2 picks, their 3rd pick is after GCS, but you never know.
