My guess as to what happened here is I got in, entered my barcodes, was offered seats, then I clicked BACK to see if I could get better ones, and the site decided my barcodes were already in use and told me there were no seats available for me. So I couldn't buy the original seats and couldn't get offered new ones either.

Once my session expired, a mate was able to log in and enter the barcodes to buy seats.

Lesson: Do not click BACK.

Also once again the mobile queue was MUCH faster than on desktop.

I’ll add to mine - don’t be afraid of the back button on the payment screen, but fear it otherwise

Logged in 9:01, 41 minutes on PC to get through. At least it looks like there's still allocation in most categories, I managed to browse thru best available as well as Cat 2, 3 & 4 before settling on a nice Cat 2 P7 Row F.

Logged in with the PC first, then mobile.

PC was still in queue while the mobile got in. Purchased tickets and the PC was still in queue.

Unlike the GF Footy Show. They say tickets are selling fast but they've been advertising them for weeks. Not so long ago they would sell within half an hour

You will need to upgrade it.
Ring the MCG and they will tell you to go to a particular gate where you can pay the difference to an adult ticket.
i did this a few years ago.

Cats fans still can’t get through their thick sculls that there is no set ticket allocation for week 1-3 of finals.

Allocation is purely grouping supporters together so you can pick where you sit. Hey think we’re “stealing” their tickets.

Membership purely gives you access to pre-sale before general public, not access to specific club allocations.

What is it with the water down there.

Hope we boo the **** out of their stupid bell.

Thought I’d submit a few findings for future reference
Used 4 devices, 2 iPhones using the app, 1 Mac using safari, 1 PC using chrome.
The phones got on first, followed by the Mac.
We had a fu** up with the first phone, ‘submit payment’ button was greyed out. Luckily by this point, the other phone had gotten in so went ahead with that one. The membership barcodes got accepted even though they were technically tied to another purchase already. By the time we discovered this had the same issue, the Mac had gotten in, so we left that to wait in case, as we went back to the queue entirely on the 2nd phone, and hit the back button on the first phone. This seemed to work as we could then go back into the payment section and it worked properly finally. We were able to keep the same seats. Lesson: don’t be afraid of the back button
While this was all happening, the other phone managed to get back in, meanwhile the PC never got it.
Could have been luck of the draw, but it agrees with the consensus the app is faster, and suggests chrome might be s**t.

Which is funny because I’d been waiting half an hour on my phone but chrome got in after 15 mins.

Reckon it’s luck.

Only took 50 minutes but got one in the end.

I bet they're slow / a POS on purpose so people impulse more expensive tickets.

What a ****ed up company.
