Appreciate that you attempted to put a fixture together but I've bolded two main issues:
  • North Melbourne will most likely still have the Good Friday fixture and I doubt they will play on back to back days on Easter weekend
  • There's a 5-day break between Round 17 (a Sunday early game) and Round 18 (a Friday night game)

Point one is a no, thursday will be rich/coll and good friday will be ess/melb due to anzac midweek fixtures a few days later.

Collingwood 7 times?

I really want North at MCG instead of Docklands, Port at the MCG with no return game. Sick of playing them in South Australia every ****n season.

West Coast at the MCG would be nice.
Brisbane at the Gabba, we've won our last 8 games in a row there. Our home away from home, and people say we can't win games interstate.

When you put it like that its a brutal start
Don't think it's correct as Dreamtime would mean we play Essendon twice within the first 10 weeks

My pontificating bares no resemblance to reality.

Didn't think so but as mentioned that would be a brutal start to a season. All bar 2 of them would be looking at playing finals next season.

They can look all they want but there is a real chance 4 of those clubs will miss finals with Carlton and Gold Coast the givens and Essendon and GWS could very easily join them.
