Went to the parade and it was great to watch the Tiger players. All this media BS at the moment is nauseating. GWSEN talking to supporters about the Scats not playing home finals STILL, and Chokingwood supporters talking about our run of 7 "home" games. FFS. Everyone "tipping" GWS, but I'd like to know who their money went on.. It is all a GIANT smokescreen. Then on the way home GWSEN were "reporting" that the Tiger players were not at all relaxed as the GWS players... Did anyone from GWSEN actually attend the parade ? Could not be more relaxed in my view. But the complaint about Dusty not giving interviews. You stupid morons - the Parade is run to a tight schedule. WTF are you muppets going to ask him anyway - Something totally original like "Do you thing DeBoer will play on you ?". Seriously, does anyone think Dusty gives a crap who plays on him ?

The Tigers were first in the Parade, and after they finishing, it was hilarious to see everyone basically leave. A MASS of Tigers fans just leaving the parade. We went to the Tigers Superstore, walked right in and bought some gear for tomorrow. We were there for 30 minutes, and when we left, the line to get in was almost to Hoddle St. Awesome.

GWS threatening to get physical behind the ball, yet may carry three cooked players - Whitfield, Mummy and Davis. There's no real need for us to physically go after these three - they will be totally exhausted by half time and be 2 men down for sure. If Davis plays (which I hope he does), it will be one of the most selfish acts in recent GF history.

It is all a GIANT smokescreen. I can't wait for tomorrow.

All I know is that all these #BigBigSound memes are in jest but there is an underlying hatred of Richmond which people are denying.

If we win tomorrow, I'm going after all oppo boards.

If I weren't a mod on another board I would be going 100% postal on every other board if we win myself.

Surprisingly im not nervous 'YET'

But what i am looking foward to after all the celebrations are done and the draft / trade period is done to come onto big footy and just remind people how good being 2019 premiers feels

Tigers - 16 points but hoping for 66 points
Norm Smith - Bachar Houli he deserved it in '17
Richo to start the water works - Again
Cotchin to put Kelly out of the game (similar to the DShiel hit)
Nank to put Mummy out of business early
Rioli to repeat his 4 goal effort against the giants in a final

In terms of media, I just switch anything GWS-related off.
Like when the media refers to Collingwood during the H&A season.

I will probably be nervous as shit tomorrow, but for now, without the emotions that create the nerves, I'm not nervous due to looking at the form of both sides.

For 11 games, only WCE came close to beating us. In most games, we started slow but as we headed for the finals, we absorbed everything the oppos sent our way and then just blew them away in the second half. GWS have been patchy and in some games, struggled in the second half.

We played Bears (away) = Convincing win. and Then Geelong. Teams that finished First and Second. The Prelim needs to be evaluated deeper just to see where we are now. Down by 21 and 1/2 time, up by 19 at the final siren. That's a 40 point difference, in a Prelim - which is harder to win than a GF.

They played Dogs and had a good win. Then the Bears - only just - in a tough game. Then Chokingwood, in a tough game, when they ran out of gas in the last quarter.

We have played harder opponents and won well, whereas GWS had one good win and scraped through the other two. We have had one more weeks rest, GWS have done a lot of traveling. We have a fully fit list, they have 3 players that are cooked. We are playing on out home ground, when we have lost 3 games out of the last 30.

To make it this far, both teams are an equal chance. This is not a foregone conclusion, but if we lose tomorrow, GWS are the most gutsiest side to win it in a long time. Personally, I can't see it happening, hence the media BS and some already claiming it to be a "classic".

I do believe we have this game well and truly covered, and it won't be a close as the media beat up suggests it will be. We have a system that works well - trust in that system and we will hold that cup aloft tomorrow !
