The inaugural Member Convention in 2018 was a league first, providing Port Adelaide members exclusive insights to the football program, with unprecedented access and information.

In 2019 we will provide more of our members with the opportunity to step inside the inner sanctum.

The program will include presentations from our coaches, high performance staff, recruiting and list management as well as some key notes from senior leaders at the club.

Hear how our coaches expect the AFL rule changes to impact the game as well as what game style changes they will be working on in 2019.

Date: Saturday 16 February 2019

Time: 8.00am - 4.00pm

Venue: Adelaide Entertainment Centre

Parking: Complimentary guest car parking

Price: $99 (three month payment plan available)

Please note: Tickets will NOT be issued. Registration will be via a Guest List on the day of the event.

This is available for booking now, but it's been buried in the official website. I wonder why it hasn't been promoted yet?

"A courageous decision, Port Adelaide."

Just got the email to buy a ticket to event. I wont be going to the event. Let others who didn't go this year have a look. I suspect the increase in cost is because of parking and venue hiring costs.

I'd be interested in hearing coaches admit what they think they got wrong and what things they are changing and the real reason why they were lukewarm on keeping Chad. But that would take up about 1/6th of program. The rest will be a repeat of this year.

Have bought my two tickets already. They're nothing if not brave.

Wasn't without issues as with anything at this club at the moment. It wouldn't let be buy a ticket for myself and the missus despite our accounts being linked, us both being members and me being the administrator of both.

Had to log into her account separately which was a pain in the ass and unusual as i've never had the problem, and didn't last year.

At the very least i'm interested to hear from the new guys.

lol the wave of people with the THIS SHOULD BE FREE BECAUSE I'M A LOYAL MEMBUH, that argument will always arrive somewhere.

Personally I think the club should have paid us for each game we attended last year.

Please deposit payment into the following account to secure your place.

Wasn't going. But, if that is where the money is going.....

I thought i was a pretty hardcore fan but i really don't think i could bring myself to go to this. I reckon i would get quite bored with it, maybe if it was an interactive convention where you watched demonstrations with set plays out on the track with the players that would interest me but listening to them talk about it for 8 hours sounds punishing.

And it is also peak Swimming and **** season in February.

There were elements of that this year. If anything, there wasn't enough time to cover all the topics and some were cut short. It seems like the list of topics this year is less involved. $99 will be really steep for alot of people, I don't expect a remotely similar turnout despite moving to a bigger venue.

The biggest issue was that the coaching side of things was clearly utter garbage last year (in hindsight), but I thoroughly enjoyed the rest.

On the same Day I got a club email about using my membership to buy an upgraded Phil Collins concert ticket too..... What a grand day to be a Port member.

Seriously, this club can **** off at the moment. Everything it does annoys me.

Same here, I got the emails about 2 hours apart, gave them both a cursory glance and then hit delete.
Even in the dark days circa 2008-12 I can't remember being as crapped off with footy as I am atm, my levels of enthusiasm are at their lowest ebb. :(

The most telling thing will be if KT has a clear plan for the future that he wants to outline. Sounds like his last speech was just rehashing where we've already been.
