I could turn B Crouch into Coniglio/Oliver

My team has 3 unique mid-priced forwards. I haven't even seen a mention of 1 of them and another was talked about for literally a couple posts and then forgotten about. The rest of my team is somewhat generic, so my forwardline will determine how i go this season. Just a matter of hours to go now, adrenaline is pumping and im hoping i don't change my team again before tonight's game!
Newnes one of them?

Newnes, Higgins, Elliot?

Gawn and Libba. Gawn is just too good to pass up, and Libba has big upside at his price.

P.Cripps V M.Crouch V Treloar

I have the first and the third.

Crouch needs to get 40 possessions to score adequately.

I'm certain I know who at least one is. Is also in my starting team.

Brad crouch revealed he played most of 2017 under duress with his groins.

If he is as fit as he apparently is now and (big if) stays that way, the 110 2nd half to 2017 may even be unders!
Hasn't played a full season. If he gets injured you're gonna burn a trade on him. Risk isn't worth it IMO.

I dont disagree, although maybe I do as at the moment I have him.

TBH when I 1st added him I thought he may be a unique worth taking a punt on (given he isn't discounted as much as AF so most had pre JLT seemingly ruled him out, myself included, for the reasons you said yourself). I am very surprised to see him sitting at 28% ownership. Smart play is to take him on but as a Crows supporter I think ill take him and hopefully enjoy the ride

No Butters?
I'm not going GnR, but would line up that way if I did. If hypothetically I take Butters with that team then I'd pick Fyfe and I only rate him in SC so wouldn't do it anyway

My team will take 3 midpricers in Smith, Libba and Cousins though, posted that team a few days ago. All up to defensive rookies now being picked, only Duursma, Collins and Burgess have been confirmed so far and I'd only take Collins if 2 or more of Clark, Scrimshaw and Hore are not named. If I have to take Collins then I doubt I'd be able to squeeze Butters in without altering my structure. Forward rookies are looking good to start with though for now. Walsh, Gibbons and Scott is a start in midfield, just need Constable and Atkins to be added to that, if Hayes or Bewley were in the mix then that'd be great too.

Speaking of Cows, thoughts on Sloane as a starting M5? The risk is obviously how tagged to shit he gets.

Tossing up a couple of options at M4/M5 - Neale/Sloane vs Brayshaw/Sheed.
Brayshaw is the no brainer there

Very Adam Treloaresque the way he goes about it

Adding to that, from what Cameron said on AFL Tonight Hately is basically a guaranteed starter and Caldwell is set to miss a month.

Might check PPM on some of these midfield rookies

Smith and Hately are two who had less match time in the JLT, yet are debuting for example

I was sitting with 233k spare this morning and was very comfortable with it as it meant come round 3 I could easily upgrade any dropped rookie to a mid-pricer that has gone bang, or even a dud midpricer to a premium. It just allows you to have a look at the field and makes those adjustments before round 3 so much easier.

That said, I have since found use for the money haha and I'm sure it will be tough for you to sit for the next few days without touching it. If you genuinely can't find any changes you like with the cash though, no harm in keeping it for flexibility.
I'm in the same conundrum. Do I have B Smith as M9 with $188K in the bank OR do I spend it all and have Libba as M8 moving Butters to M9?

Turned Sloane into Rocky and banked the extra ~60k. I just can't forget the former PIG status, even if he's been wildy inconsistent the past two seasons (and with hammys like crepe paper)
