Has he seen their roster?

The poor Wizards guy was just playing defence.

Guess we can't blame the Knicks for interpreting defence wrongly. By their logic they're the most respectful team in the league.

Please.

He, Bobby Portis, Taj Gibson & Julius Randle suggest we won't be pushed over.

The only thing Kelly Oubre slaps is the floor.
Don’t insult the fashion icon that is Tsunami Papi please

Morris Sr gets me every time as well

Probably the most stupid thing China could have done. All it does is draw attention to a problem that millions of people would have otherwise remained more or less remain blissfully ignorant of.

How many people would have become 'radicalised' by Morey's tweet? Two? Who even reads Morey tweets other than Rockets fans anyway?

Exactly what I was thinking. General NBA fan would have no idea, communist country trying to hold league to ransom... seems to be pissing a lot of people off.

Anyone watching this game? It makes all star game defense look good.

Russ certainly adds a nice new dynamic with the speed he plays at, putting up way too many threes though unfortunately. Interestingly not board chasing....yet.

Utah dispatched adelaide by a lazy 52.

My family and I are visiting SLC. We went along to the game. Tickets were really cheap and we were staying within walking distance of the arena. I haven't been to an NBA arena before but Vivant Smart arena is great - fabulous views even from the top deck, good food and all the staff and security are the nicest people you would ever meet. None of the Nazi's you find at Australian sports venues. Was very respectful to see everyone in the arena standing with hand on heart for the Aussie national anthem!

Ingles played a lot of minutes in the first half and sat most of the second. The word around was that he's likely to play a lot with the Jazz second unit this year (while still being a go to guy at the end of games) so I suppose they want to work on his integration with the usual backup guys. Even to my fairly uneducated eye you could see he was running a lot of the show while on court and his game sense was a notch above the other players. Conley, Mitchell and Gobert were dnp's. So basically Utah's lineup was Bogdanovich, Ingles, a few bench players and some wannabees who normally play the next level down.

My conclusion was that Adelaide are not very good.

Thanks for your wrap. Any photos?

Wow. as entertaining as it is, should KD step down from his twitter?

Apparently only accredited NBA photographers are allowed to take cameras in so we had to check the camera and our backpack in at the cloak room. Security was perfectly friendly about this, one of the guys even walked with us to the cloak room to show us the way. Not sure what they were worried about - I can't imagine we were going to make a mint selling pictures of Joe Ingles and a few G league players taken from the top tier with a point and shoot.

But we did take a few low quality shots with the phone...

Just tried to post a close up of one of the cheerleaders but it won't show up. Must be a wife imposed filter or something ;). They were very pretty but looked like they had repurposed the cloth off a billiard table to make their outfits - very Utah I thought.

I particularly liked this photo. First take, adelaide are on offence, and 5 Jazzians are going for the defensive board.

OR

it could very well be that the Jazz are on offence, and this is 36er D! haha

How was the crowd. Traditionally they are very patriotic and harsh on visiting teams. Did you notice a somewhat monochrome feel to the crowd? Qu-white similar perhaps?

At the start the crowd was reasonably loud for the Jazz and quiet for the 36ers but after the lead blew out the cheering was fairly half hearted stuff for both teams as was a lot of the play. I had a look at a Jazz forum on the net after we got back to the hotel and one post said they had seen more enthusiasm and intensity at summer league games. At one stage in the 2nd half the Jazz let Harry Froling dribble the length of the court - let's just say he ain't Ben Simmons in transition. About the only Adelaide action that got the crowd going was one or two big blocks from a guy who I think was their US import (can't recall his name). Oh yeah, speaking of defensive boards there was a Bronx cheer when two 36ers collided going for a rebound with no Jazz player in sight and the ball went ob. They were that bad. Was heaps of travelling calls too.

While things were serious the Jazz team game was much better. By h/t Ingles had about as many assists as the whole 36er team. 36ers were very much one or two guys attacking where Jazz would whip it around and always find an open shot. See the photo below which was taken just before the rebound you commented on.

There were a couple of African American faces in the crowd but Utah must have one of the least ethnically diverse populations in the US.
