Anyone liking Polec?
Huge POD. Gets loads of space in that Norf midfield from what we've seen in JLT so far. Will get a lot closer attention in the real thing though. Could still be a great pick although I won't be picking him

Had a lot of up and down scores last year, but that kick-handball ratio is very attractive.

Boak pretty good in both JLT's but for me it's either
Boak (& approx Scrimshaw in D6)
Or
Witherden & fwd cheapie.

Not tempted to do an about face and decimate my strong mid & def. Goes against my entire months work :p
There's tooo many midfield options.

Wow Rocky. Just wow. Back to King Pig mode. Taking his marks in defence, kicking his goals, tons of marks etc. Incredible to watch

God I hope this Rocky role is what we see in the season proper. Why else would Port play him there in JLT2? Haha this is actually happening, Lockliff.
Rocky starts the season
Melbourne
Carlton
Brisbane
If he goes bang round 1 with a huge score he'll go up quite quickly.
I won't be tempted though.

The big question: can we trust Ken Hinkley?

But it's exciting: everyone looked at the Wingard trade and thought about how it would affect him/Titch/Worpel etc., but what about who gets the extra possies for Port? Exciting!

Gee.. 141 in 3 quarters is hard to ignore. If I’m willing to take a risk on Taranto why not go all out for a proven stat padder at a similar price. Only issue is obviously Port and Hinkley guaranteed to shuffle things around at random times. On the other hand.. could get to 750k fairly quickly if he starts the season like this.. could have him for 2-3 rounds then go sideways to a safer pick.. Hmmmm

He's 600k.
So he's cheaper than Taranto! But also no chance to get to 750k until at least 6-8 rounds.

Guys don't pick Rockliff off the back of this...I'm not just saying that either. He's priced nicely, if he kills it then it'll still be a relatively easy upgrade target...

Or back him, love the confidence! Haha

Probably incredibly reactionary but very, very tempting. Very little downside (in that he'll surely average at least 95-100 playing the role he's had today) while the upside is obviously enormous.

Agree though that Port aren't doing this every day of the week.

Yeah Im not convinced he plays the role every week though...this side is ran by Ken Hinkley...

Iv always wanted him in my team Iv just been concerned about his shoulders and needed to see him play pain free.

Ken will be out on his ear if he doesn't change things up this year though won't he? Agree there's a bit of risk there but Port have to have someone play midfield without Wines/Winguard and Rocky has shown he really doesn't have the ability to play the forward role he had a bunch of the time last year.

They have a new midfield coach now, might have something to do with it. Schofield might want rocky and boak pure guts

Rocky was one of the best clearence players in the league before we got him. We didnt get him to be a forward he was just injured last year.
