Few things to keep in mind with Hurn/Shaw/Crisp ahead of Witho may be the kick in rule? Rich seems to be taking Lions kick ins whereas Hurn/Shaw have been taking kick ins (unsure on Crisp to be honest). Not sure if Flowers weights that in his calcs though so I could just be spinning nonsense

Fair enough. I'll have to have a look but if it's affecting him don't really feel like starting with any of the 4 tbh, feel at best you're probably just getting a 90.
Quite like the rookies in defense (compared to everywhere else) so always could downgrade him and run with 3 out of Ridley/Clark/Duursma and Scrimshaw.

Like how that looks actually haha.

Just outside fringe below Billings and Robinson

Obviously Kelly's averages are affected by his rookie like scores first half of last season

Agree 100% his first half last year certainly drags him down. Any chance we can get our hands on this?

Starting to get shaky on Witho.
Trying to stay strong on him but the jump to Whitfield is tempting.

I'd 100% take Whitfield over him if you have space & don't need to sacrifice somewhere else. Although he has a bigger scope of improvement, sometimes you have to go with what you know you'll get

I'd have to go either Gawn to Goldy or Newnes to Elliott to do it.
Might just sit on it for a while.

Think my last decision before my team is complete comes down to Steele or Taranto?

Steele hit the 100 on both occasions in JLT and has a good run to start the year while also finishing last year like an Uber premo. Taranto also scored well but I’m a bit unsure of his exact role once the giants play their full midfield. Can’t split the two.

Apologies Chris, not at this stage. I've spent about 10 hours punching in these numbers so I'd like to try and keep what little edge it provides me fore the season. But i'm happy to highlight compairosns and stuff people ask for.

I bet we only made the decision harder for you. My logic for Gawn + Steele is that Gawn is top 2 ruck and Steele looks primed to be an uber premo going 109 after the bye last year.

IMO if you get the top 2 rucks you have an advantage over everyone else. Its a lot easer to match competitor midfield scores with so many players available than it is in the ruck.

Understandable! Good luck for the season

Any chance I could get a ranking/prediction avg on Taranto? Tossing up whether he’s worth the coin over a sheed/Brayshaw type. Or just pay up and go to Merrett?

My midfield atm is brayshaw, sloane, rocky, sheed, b crouch, libba, cousins & walsh. Is this too risky? I feel like rocky & sloane are pretty safe and atleast sheed will go nig first 2 without gaff. Doing this allows me to have mccarthy & cousins who i think are must haves eith the lack of good scoring rookies.

Taranto - Projected Avg 101 (roughly 122 normalised JLT Avergage, average 100 in last 5 games of 2018 and 93 in second half of last season).
Merret - Projected Avg 89 (roughly 65 normalised JLT Average, 112 average in last 5 games of 2018 and 114 in the second half of last seaosn) - if you take out his terrible JLT 1 score and replace it with his average his Projected Avg jumps up to around 100.

Around the price point between Merret and Taranto you have high predicted averages of Selwood (107) and Redden (103) and Steel (97)

Beneath Taranto you have Sloane (103) Dom Sheed (95) and Brad Crouch (104)
