If you recall on a podcast before the season started i picked this kid as the pick of the litter. I claimed he was like McLoad. I got it a bit wrong. He’s a cross between Wirrapinda and McLoad. I reckon he’s gonna be heavier set in build than McLoad. He’s gonna fill out beautifully.

He has gears like McLeod,
Sydney seems to be cruising
Then bang in full speed, his timing
At hitting the packs and ball are elite

Damien H is correct to say Melbourne is a better team than results suggest.
They led WC at 3 quarter time.
They were cheated of the win by poor umpiring.
Gawn marked in defence, the WC player dived, a free kick was paid in front of goal.
It was a crucial goal which changed the course of the match.

No harm in him getting fitness up in the vfl. Soldo v Gawn seems like the best physical matchup out of the two anyway, will be a huge challenge for him.
I reckon it will be the Choldo duo against Gawn!
1..to give Nanks more time to recover!
2..to double team Gawn with different ruckmen to test Gawn out!
3..to see if the Choldo duo is still as good as it was agin that wobble's ruckman and if their is still more up-side!

They were putrid against the Saints. As were StKilda. It was like watching a game of auskick

We put the cart before the horse last year, some of our fans were complacent, thought we had it in the bag and would trounce the Pies, have the trophy presented on a platter.
Just focus week by week, get the job done.
Anyway, good to see the fixture released, it's beneficial for us.
Round 22, we will know the Bris v Geel, Adel v Coll results.
Round 23 we will know the Coll v Essendon result.

Spot on let's take it week to week not happy with this media hype to.

Agreed, and I wouldn't take the Eagles lightly either. They have similar talented key position players to us and they just don't get the media hype here because well.... WA.

They have had their down patch of form too I believe and are slowly building up as well. Be fools to underestimate anyone now. Even Carlton who haven't beaten us in so long, are playing good footy and young kids would be hungry to perform. If we are off 5-10% because we think we will do it easy, it's exactly the type of game we would drop before finals to wake us back up. Although in 2019 dropping a game now could have disasterous consequences for us in our ladder positioning.

You don’t genuinely believe how the fans think has any relevance at all in how the team play do you? Surely not?

If Im ‘taking it 1 week at a time’ or doing ladder predictors flat out or even looking at premiership tattoo designs.. it’s not making 0.1% of a difference on game day

Exactly just going nicely eagles.None of our games a easy besides dees all hit form. Tick the boxes week by week simple as that for me we control our destiny if we're good enough.

We are not the best team BY FAR. We’re currently 4th, not top. A few teams on our level and can definitely beat us
Eagles are a very good team across the park and they're coming good at the right time of year. I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but the game against the Eagles in a few weeks will benchmark both teams.
