Obviously different situations but I also have done an ACL. My first game back I head the same 'pop' and thought I had redone it but it was just the knee buckling, swelled up for a week but that was as bad as it got. Fingers crossed he's ok but I'm not doing well over here.

Anyone know how Langlands is going?? I reckon he is a sleeper for us, love his speed and power out of the contest .

Carlisle still playing 20 minutes into the 4th despite the plan only being for him to play a half. Straight back in.

Going to salivate over his numbers after the game. He took six marks in the first term, wouldn't be surprised if he has ended with 20 odd. Old mate grimlock will post the figures tomorrow hopefully.

But he didn't seem to be in much pain even when it happened. Got dragged down in a contest, free kick, got up but couldn't put much weight on leg. Walked off to bench, 5 mins later walked to rooms with no limp. Bit of a jar / strain im tipping. Fingers crossed

Even looking at this it doesn't scream ACL, seems too keen on playing on. Either that or was just in shock and denial.

I doubt we see him for a a while if not all year. He needs strength in his body. Shock tears.. thank god.

Great news for the kid and club. It could be a blessing in disguise as its obvious his body is not yet ready, so the club will be forced to just put him away for the rest of the year and let him continue to build his core strength. Perhaps this is the first bit of injury luck the club has had all year.

In other news, Dave was there with partner and baby, GOAT there with his hairy sausage dogs Parker there with his boy whom he interacts with all the time. The kid has a very good dad.

Ok. Not much out there. Carlisle and hanners are really the only ones players out there. Hanners still may need another week. Not sure

He’s been strong in the contest. some of his disposals could’ve potentially been more positive, you could say, but yeah, pleasing to see him be strong in the contest.

It’s been a really funny game. When King went down they rotated all the talls back and forward and ruck. Carlisle, Clav, Mayo, Rowe all playing multiple positions each quarter. I would pay too much attention to stats ect.
