Patton could potentially transform our forward line into one of the most dangerous in the league. He frees up Lewis to roam higher and not get double teamed. He allows Gunston and O'Brien to be matched up against less capable tall defenders than they were in 2019.
Just need to hope Patton can stay fit and play 20+ games.

Patton’s there so Mitch can develop without multiple defenders all over him, he does that and I’m happy.

One would think that a lot of teams could do their deals but want to wait to see what other clubs do first as it can effect any other moves. It's all pretty much just glorified Mexican standoff atm…

I thought very much the same thing then someone told me that a lot of trades are convoluted/tied to one another; clubs rely on other pieces to fall before they ultimately pull the trigger.
