No way, in that scenario Darcy/Lobb got us to that prelim. If he was fit and ready to go, and we'd just won a prelim (just)... would you play him?
He's still a beast. I would. Sorry Darcy.
Probably a call to be made based on the weather. GC have named a fairly tall and inexperienced backline (Collins, Hombsch, Ballard), so it’s probably not as big an issue. They arent renowned for their run off half back - Hanley looks a shadow of his former self, Bowes is a smooth mover but not overly fast, so it’s really Harbrow that provides the run.Really hoping Gyro or Crowden comes in for Tabs. That forward line is too tall
brayshaw 51% - 49% BlakleyBrayshaw 51% - 49% Blakely
Sandi 100%
Cox 55% - 45% Tabs
Sandi gets first hands just about every time so would help win the centre clearances. Cox has the versatility that if Hamling or Pearce were to go down, he could slot down back. Brayshaw and Blakely both beasts; I’ve given the edge to AB because I think he’s a bit of a smarter footballer.
People have short memories.......long term Brayshaw will likely be better but if both were fully fit tomorrow and you could only choose 1, it's Blakely quite comfortably - is tougher, wins more ball and can play both mid and in the back line.Lol at Brayshaw > Blakely. It's not even close yet.
I love Andy as much as anyone but agree with this.People have short memories.......long term Brayshaw will likely be better but if both were fully fit tomorrow and you could only choose 1, it's Blakely quite comfortably - is tougher, wins more ball and can play both mid and in the back line.

One of the best contested marks in the game and people here still think he's no good. People have extremely short memories if they think Brayshaw is currently better than BlakelyTabs is criminally under appreciated amongst a lot of our fans!

Not under-rating him. The question was regarding Cox or Tabs. No one in their right mind would prefer Tabs. He plays less games, kicks less goals, averages less possessions, less marks inside 50, worse disposal DE%, isn't as mobile, can't play back and is 5 years older than Cox.Tabs is criminally under appreciated amongst a lot of our fans!

Can't compare a year were Tabs was out for most of it.
What is the stat per game?
Edit
Cox 27 CM is 16 games
Tabs 20 CM in 9 games
in his 7 games of 2018 he averaged more than Matthew Pavlich in 2018...whats your point caller?Brennan Cox ranked 22 for Contested Marks in 2018 - Matthew Taberner 53rd
In the last 3 years Freo have brought in to the club Cox, Dixon, Strnadica, McCarthy, Kersten, Hogan and Lobb. All marking forwards.Cox: 27 contested marks from 16 games 0.59 per game
Taberner: 20 contested marks from 9 games 2.22 per game
Taberner ranked at #7 last season for contested marks per game, that's with him breaking his foot in the first quarter of the Bulldogs game last year.
Pav had better commentary stats though. Averaged 1.6 Cometti-isms per game.in his 7 games of 2018 he averaged more than Matthew Pavlich in 2018...whats your point caller?
Any one who watches training, any update on Stephen Hill and Bennell?
Thanks
