Is there any argument for an outsider to win in the remaining games this round? They all seem terrible matchups.

Syd - chance of a letdown spot + fielding an atrocious team due to injuries vs a Saints team on fire.

Geel - good in the wet, but a hard slog on 5 days turnaround with plenty of injury concerns vs a WC team on fire.

Ess - injury decimated and just barely getting over the weaker team vs a Bris team on fire.

Freo - injury decimated + a poor team to begin with vs Coll on the rebound

Ade - been close a couple of times but without the composure to finish games. Importantly now missing Sloane and Crouch making their midfield as weak as their forward line vs NM who were good last week and got some key players back with a run under their belt.

GC - have been plucky but lost narrowly to a below strength WB so should struggle against a near full strength GWS.

The first five game look like moral, with GWS being a bit flaky the concern.

Hawks went out to +12.5 but have dropped 4 spuds and brought in 2 guns and 2 experienced players. Easily the best chance of an upset although Carl in far superior form.

Anything i'm missing? Might throw some H2H bets in. Better than bank interest.

North dropping Polec is a sign that the club is tanking.

Don't be surprised if they play Larkey as a high CHF, and Maj / Walker as 'mobile forwards' (i.e. as far away from goal as possible).

If you look through the North vs Adelaide fixture from last year...

... by my count, of 17 total goals scored, 14 were by players who won't be there tomorrow.

This could be one of the worst football matches we have ever seen.

Tmitchell 26+/wingard 2 goals+/hawks 7.5+

$7.60 topsport
blues looked tired last week in the second half slog up at the Gabba don’t trust them. Hawks will bounce back with Clarko playing slow tempo footy with good ins they should be really competitive. Wingard is class and Mitchell is a magnet. Can chuck I under total points but dont be greedy take the $$

I'll be chucking Wingers 2 goals, Gunston 1, Mitchell 25 plus Hawks winning and a few more 15 possies, all those should happen if the Hawks are to win.

Zurhaar 2.30 for 2+ looks like pretty easy money.

Brown out will give him more looks, team 'should' win. Doedee went off late with a hammy so assume he's out...

Lachlan Murphy

2g+ $5, 3g+ $18

Kicked three goals twice last year from 21 matches, kicked three goals last week.

And North are not only trash, I think they are tanky-trash.

Kudos for trashing your own team. I might tail the Murphy bet. He has a history of kicking 3 against awful teams - managed 3 last week.

Gonna regret this one in a few hours, but Carlton -5.5 with lads $2 lines. They have been much improved this year and are starting to look like a decent team. Hawthorn have been really poor this year. Should really have the hawks well covered, but it's the Blues so who knows :p.
