I’m looking a Witherden. Seems extremely underpriced at this point. Going with Roberton and Doedee also means freeing up more cash for the midfield.

Bought him for sub 400k last year. Fecked me.

Never again until he tons up at least 55 games straight

That’s a lot of risk right there

What is the go with Stephen Hill at Freo?

I know he has been injured but 190k defender who will play games if fit.

Any Freo supporters got an insight as to how he is traveling and his future?

All about fitness.

He has been struggling with this quad for about 18 months now. Finally out of the rehab group. Some of the guys who go to training reckon he is moving a lot better.

Nearly first picked for me if he plays preseason games. Probably our most important player this year given who's come in and out.

I’ll be going one of them, probably Roberton. Doedee gives me someone to trade to if Roberton heart shows issues early. Starting both with Docherty is very risky.
No thank you to Witherden.

If Hill is fit and picked round one. Yo have to pretty much lock him in at that price.

Yeah.

I should elaborate on the actual question. Currently he is fit and in full training, which is the longest period he has been so since the quad saga started - last year the games he played were off the back of limited training.

He has shown a propensity for it to flare up periodically but I think most of us on the freo board are of the opinion he never really got over it previously and was just managed through it. So given the way he's gone so far you'd have to be optimistic.

Or in words more appropriate for supercoach: he is tearing up the track, absolute lock.

Yes, but what about increased midfield minutes?

I'm sorta hoping he misses Round 1 then plays the rest of the season.
