Nope GC didn’t rate him. No off field issues.Lyons wasn't delisted because he wasn't good enough, it was due to off field matters. He had already proven himself to be a good AFL footballer.
Has he assaulted women prior to this ? I'm not sure, I stand corrected if he has.
He is hard to coach hence he was punted by Adelaide also.Nope GC didn’t rate him. No off field issues.
The crows should not have let him go on the first place. Chased Gibbs so hard he wasn't considered part of the future.Nope GC didn’t rate him. No off field issues.
Channel 7 don't have a problem with violence against woman - they pay Wayne Carey a lot of moneyWhy would you assume that it would have to be related to another assault?
How did a Taylor, a Swans player end up in WA (not in Queensland with his team mates) where the assault took place?
He was already banned for the season after he broke AFL and WA government protocols by sneaking his then girlfriend (and the person he assaulted) into the club's quarantine hub. It was an act that had the potential to end the 2020 season altogether and could have lost huge sums of money for the AFL and the clubs. Imagine if Channel 7 and Foxtel said, no footy, there will be no payment for broadcast rights.
It was investigated by the Swans and the AFL and as a result he was suspended for the rest of the season. The Swans were fined $50K for the breach, but $25K was suspended. The remaining $25K will be part of the Swans 2021 Cap, even though Taylor won't be playing for them.
The AFL then issued the following statement:
"The actions by Elijah not only breach the AFL’s protocols, but made it a police matter by breaching the Western Australian COVID-19 quarantine directions."
"When in quarantine the rules are clear and there is no excuse for this breach."
This was a serious error by Taylor, he was given a second chance by the Swans, but stuffed it up. No doubting his ability but he needs to go back to state level footy and prove that has changed his ways.

Kerry Stokes loves paying shit humans to be on his network.Channel 7 don't have a problem with violence against woman - they pay Wayne Carey a lot of money
What's with the pose?
Neither.What's with the pose?
Is he a sports presenter or reject country road/ kmart catalogue model?
You are right there, and apparently a few posters see things the same way about Hawthorn or another club picking up Taylor.Channel 7 don't have a problem with violence against woman - they pay Wayne Carey a lot of money
Anyone have any info on the rumour that North and the Hawks are planning on a live trade swap of their top 5 picks tomorrow night. Talk is we are after Logan Mc Donald.
I just have the feeling they want to get in ahead of Sydney to get Grainger-Barass. If we get McDonald we will have a glut of KP forwards. Might be good for competition or a doubt about the current crop being able to make it.https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl...-between-north-and-hawks-20201207-p56lfy.html
The whole trade is contingent on Adelaide taking Thilthorpe over McDonald, Kangas want Hollands who they believe will slide past Sydney who will pick DGB. Another rumour is we will bid on Campbell and force Sydney to match (if they want) thus burning their pick.
First rumour seems more plausible.
Mitch Lewis - promising but not provenI just have the feeling they want to get in ahead of Sydney to get Grainger-Barass. If we get McDonald we will have a glut of KP forwards. Might be good for competition or a doubt about the current crop being able to make it.
By the time Lewis (if he gets there), Jeka (likewise) and McDonald are hitting their straps Patton and TOB will be close to done, or gone
Maybe, but Hale was 31 and Lake was 33 in 2015. The rub is we didnt need to draft those guys though.
Mitch Lewis - promising but not proven
Patton - established but injuries could get the best of him
Jeka- promising but not proven, gimme McDonald any day of the week
This IS the hypothetical thread.
After Crows select Tilthorpe #1
Trade #1 with North
(Promise not to draft "Holland/McDonald" for North)
4+24+45 (2034 + 785 + 347 = 3166) to North for 2 + 30 + 71 (2517 + 629 + 29 = 3175)
Bid on JUH (Bulldogs Match #2)
Trade #2 with Essendon
Trade 2+30+49 to Essendon for 7+8+77
Essendon pick Campbell (Swans match Campbell #3 with traded picks)...
Trade #3 with Sydney
Trade 8 + 46 to Sydney for pick #3
Essendon pick McDonald with #2 (now pick #4)
Hawthorn have #3 from Sydney (now #5) - North still want Holland
Trade #4 with North
3 to North for 4+45
North pick Holland with #3 (now pick #5).
Gold Coast are super keen on Phillips
Trade #5 with Gold Coast
4 to Gold Coast for 5+76 and a future 3rd (or GC find from somewhere?)
Gold Coast pick Phillips with #4 (now pick #6)
Hawthorn pick DGB with #5 (now pick #7)
Essendon pick #6 = ??
Hawthorn pick #7 = Perkins/Bruhn/?
At this point we still have 45, 71, 72, 76, 77 and either a future 3rd (GC) or another 3rd round pick.
With other picks coming and adding more points in we can match any pick for Downie from about 21 onwards.
Hawthorn get DGB, Perkins, Downie and last pick in the draft.
