obviously also leaves North, Hawks, Essendon, Sydney and Collingwood left in the run home.

think we'll end up with Hawks and Roos in Tassy (given the Roos have got games in Hobart), probably Sydney in Alice or Darwin as NT lobbying the AFL for games.
2 home games max being Essendon & Collingwood
Should get 3 to ensure we have the same number of home games as Adelaide. However this is the AFL we are talking about though!

The WA state government is the issue. They won't allow any of the other side's in without quarantine, same as the Eagles & Dockers if they fly out to play they'd have to quarantine again with the way they've carried on from my understanding of it.

That should really mean the. That the WA teams leave partners by round 16 and hub again for the final rounds, because come finals time, team will not b able to quarant for 4 days before playing a final!

Divorce lawyers around the land will be ordering their new Beemers...

Geez - should throw the WB game, and play all the depth.

Then hit Richmond with the A team off a 9 Day break, and Geelong the week after.

Even better if we can convince WB to do the same...

Imagine how well our players would be performing if they cried every time the fixture came out and it was not up to their expectations, sadly this year especially we just have to suck it up and enjoy the ride (which sorta works in with your opening sentences :) )

The Vic players tend to play well after a good sook. They get free kicks that Dixon would dream about.

"We gotta break Port. They can't keep winning!" (AFL)

It will be very interesting how we manage our players going forward on the back of a condensed fixture.

Indeed. List management should start this week, due to the short turn around in games. It will be important to find the right balance between recovery and match readiness, which is already compromised this season with small training groups and 1 x 40 minute squad contact session per week.

What a load of horse shit that we dont get 3 or 4 or 5 home games in a row at AO.

5 games left after Rd 12 ie, 4 Vic teams and Sydney.

After 12 games only 4 AO home games and 2 home games in Qld, WCE and GWS. You know there will be more there.

I can see it that we will get 2 more home games probably Sydney and 1 Vic team and have to go to Tassie. What horsehit given we can have crowds at AO.

So Sydney, Collingwood, Essendon and tassie teams North and Hawks left after Rd 12.
