I asked for my pledge to be tax deductible, and haven't received above e-mail.

I hope my tax deductibility isn't delayed because the club was too slow in e-mailing everyone on how to do it.

just claim it anyway. If you get audited, you'll just pay the tax back, they're unlikely to levy penalties for an honest mistake.

Ha ha who TF are you? P*** off.

I'm the gold member who will basking in our next premiership glory at the mcg to at least the equivalent of you. Made even sweeter by having held this shit show to account and forced the change necessary so the undeserving like you can enjoy the day too.

Ha ha you're just some random internet troll who thinks his one man protest matters.

You think I'm the only one? Wowee. Better get back to Facebook and post about all the good things the club have been doing. Numpty.
The issue I have with it is they can easily pin it to covid rather than their own wrongdoing which is the only reason I folded in the end.

Missed my call back as I was in a meeting this morning. Voicemail said they'd try again "in the next couple of weeks".

Spent 15 minutes trying to call back but the line was busy. Eventually got through and have now been on hold for 25 minutes, moved up from 18th in the queue to 12th.

Interesting as the cut-off date is 26 June, so "the next couple of weeks" isn't all that suitable. Unless that date has changed?

Quite clear the club is trying to under resource the contacting of members to try and get people past the cut off date and take their money.

Imagine how many phone calls.would not have needed to be made had they put the $60 home membership option as a simple click and submit.

Witholding it is not a cash grab. It will cost more (financially and Goodwill) "hiding" it. It is is just dumb process.

It said in the email if you don't get it in before the 26th you will just have to wait for the following year to have it on your tax return.

Please submit your agreement by 5pm Wednesday 24 June 2020 to ensure we can action this with the ASF for the 2020 financial year.**

**If this timeline is not met, the deduction will apply to the 30 June 2021 financial year.

I don't want to pledge anything.

"If you have made payment for your 2020 membership but elect not to action any of the Membership pledge options by the Friday 26 June cut-off date, we will take that as consent to submit your membership as being pledged for this season. In return you will receive the benefits of the relevant pledge option in recognition of your ongoing support."

Dumb? The AFC?? Never...! :p

I thought it was hilarious when Wines was suspended and the Port people made suggestions that the Crows had organised the reporter to go there so he would get banned. I had to explain to my Port supporting mates that while it was a great conspiracy theory, the AFC couldn't organise a p!ss up in a brewery, let alone something clever like that!
