They offered a lottery in exchange for money, that's a contractual agreement.
If someone wants to kick up a stink about this and complain the Crows have no legs to stand on from what I can see.

I'd be surprised if they didn't.
I've had 2 emails from the club since the ballot asking if I'd like a ticket. Also received an email from the SACA offering a $195 hospitality package in either the Committee Room or the Gil Langley Room
Any chance they realised that deducting pledgers from available seats resulted in a few being left over?
Or just couldn't be bothered going.

We ain't members, more like customers or season ticket holders.
Members should be able to elect/not elect an under performing Chairman and Board.
AFC would have more buy in if we were true members and we wouldn't be in this mess now.
Chapman would have got the arse at the AGM after he didn't accept Triggs resignation.

Yeah apparently they double counted people in corporate boxes and included empty seats. WTF! Even taking into account our form and the fact it was a Monday night it’s a pretty poor crowd. I think the restrictions due to COVID will save the club a bit of embarrassment for the rest of the season as far as attendance is concerned.
So I could have gone not that I missed anything

It's a crap crowd for us for sure, but just last year Hawthorn managed to get just 14k at the MCG vs GWS so hardly the end of the world.
Our real trouble will be when there are no Covid restrictions, we've not won a game in 18 months and people have realised they haven't really missed going to the footy and that not having a membership no longer means a multi-year wait list.
