NFL 2020 NFL - Week 12(Thanksgiving)

think mainly due to blatant disregard of covid protocols by the Broncos
the number of positives seems to determine if games get delayed. a few weeks ago both Green Bay and San Fran had positives and the game wasnt moved. the Ravens game wasnt moved the first time till the number of positives was like 10. its now up to 19 players and some coaches/support staff.

I just heard Schefter talking about it on ESPN - he said that it's to do with whether the outbreak is contained. In other words, the Broncos were penalised yesterday because they had their outbreak under control. "It's not about competitive disadvantage, just controlling outbreaks."

They've incentivised doing the wrong thing. Because the Ravens completely screwed it up, they get an opportunity to get people health and/or bring in players.

NFL suspended Texans CB Bradley Roby six games for violating the league's PEDs policy.
He joins teammate Will Fuller as Texans to be busted for PEDs and hit with six-game bans Monday. Roby will miss the remainder of the season and the first game of next year. Roby is the Texans' every-down No. 1 cover corner. He re-signed with Houston on a three-year, $31.5 million deal last offseason.

Maybe BoB was keeping them off the juice at least! Haha

So Pederson says in regards to the Wentz pick in 4th qtr - "Earlier in the game Dallas ran outside on this playcall"....so it's 100% his fault. With that and Fuelgham running short of the sticks.....this coaching staff needs to all be replaced

You're approaching diagnosable.

Yes, every single play is everyone's fault but Carsons.

He hasn't played well but he only gets help from probably 2 or 3 players on offense. The RB's when they run (they drop passes), the TE's when receiving and Mailata

It's impossible to help someone who puts the ball no where near you.

When he missed Ward on a wide open slant on the second play of the game, how was Ward to help that?

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports the Ravens are flying to Pittsburgh Tuesday night despite learning of two more positives before boarding on Tuesday.
Some Ravens are privately expressing "concern" about the Week 12 game on Wednesday, but the NFL is expecting the game to be played, especially with the flight taking off. The two new positives include one player and one staffer, both of whom were identified as potential positives after contact tracing. The NFL told those involved that there's "no concern for more spread", which certainly can be debated. With under 24 hours to play, it appears the NFL is going to get this game in.

if this game goes ahead with the virus still not under control, then no game will get canceled this year.

the NFL drove past the last exit for caution long ago, and passed the player safety well before that.
So naturally the next team to shut down practice will have "abundance of caution" in the press release.

I thought they said that already?
Yeah its in the memo every team sends out that all read like the NFL just sent every team the same one with a couple of blank spaces for team names/players and date and the name of the training facility.

They all read like a CTRL+C, CTRL+V and send

Wishful thinking. But they have no choice but to back him.

Read or saw somewhere that cap hit for ‘21 if they got rid of him would be nearly $60m!! Can that be right?

yeah. and they have a cap number of $265M for next year right now. and the league cap could fall to as low as $175M. so more than $65M over the highest projected cap before covid happened.

His new money doesnt kick in till next season which is why the cap hit is so bad.

1) Considering how much easier (and more common) passing in the NFL has become since those other guys started, those numbers aren't that impressive

2) Make up your damn mind about whether you like Baker or not :p
and his stats are still worse than the qbs he listed
