0 second half points in a game where your defense gets 5 INTs is just unacceptable.

2 INT's by stroud 1 was an easy TD. 2 punts of drives that lasted under 1min. and a missed long FG with bad playcalling.

Its bad enough that Ryans should think about making a move at OC while they can still save the season. not like its the first game the offence has struggled

TBF...Lions have played better games than the Chiefs this year.

But I don't trust Goff once you take St Brown out of the equation.

i dont think KC are the best in the AFC. they havent looked good. Chiefs would need the Bills and/or Ravens to beat themselves to come out of the AFC if Mahomes cant get the offence going in the next 6 weeks.

Missing top 2 WR's but that didnt seem like much of an issue in the first half. You need to give them a chance even if it takes someone out of the box to help the run game that was dismal all game.

Going for the fg on 3rd makes sense so if you botch the snap you can reset and have another go on 4th down.

My issue was with only 4 seconds on the clock they might not have had enough time to snap the ball, regain control in case of a bad snap or fumble and then spike it all in 4 seconds.

Stroud ****ing sucks without Nico. Cant even be game managing scum. .. having said that refs missed clear PI on the 3rd down before the missed FG by Fairbairn at the end.

The defense was pretty good last year. If the offense had scored 18 points at home in the conference championship game they’d have played in the SB. Put up 10 instead.

Agree that he’d be a pretty clear favourite right now. Maybe only Allen can catch him unless Mahomes goes lights out for the rest of the year.

Allen laid an egg versus that horrendous Ravens D in week 4. Bills only scored 10 points, he threw for 180. No way should he be in the running considering how much damage every other QB has done to that same defence.

What about a 10 point effort in a loss to the Steelers with an intercept and fumble and 0 TD?

Lamar did that in week 5 last year.

Early season blips are forgotten with clutch performance down the stretch.

He’d be a worthy winner but even if he gets to 2000 I doubt it. There’s been chat about Tyreek and CMC (among others) in recent years, but it’s a QB award - short of a non-QB doing something historically great.

Looks like you’d get around 60-1 for a Henry win though. Maybe worth a couple of bucks in case he does go off in the second half of the season. More likely he wins OPOY, looks like he’s a favourite for that.

They have been pretty ordinary and lucky in their 9-0 start

I personally think he can. The qb play has not been that stellar this year. Yes lamar has been good, but not run away with it good. If henry crosses 2000 yards, it will be at the cost of lamar giving up usage of the ball (be it less passing attempts and/or less designed runs).

I still believe the chiefs are just bored, and just going through the motions, waiting for the playoffs.
I would start paying serious attention to their form in weeks 16,17 and 18.That should give an indication as to where they are mentally and physically, as that is when you would expect the contenders to start sharpening up heading into the playoffs.

Would be good to see but if Cupp couldn't take it off a QB a few seasons ago then Henry would need well over 2000.
