I’m liking the look of Devon. Starting to think I’ll revert back to the F1-4 I had from day one. Whitfield, Devon, Steven, Brayshaw

Worth noting no Heppel/Clarke/Hibberd todayI’m liking the look of Devon. Starting to think I’ll revert back to the F1-4 I had from day one. Whitfield, Devon, Steven, Brayshaw
True. I like Devon as an option though as he’s a top 6 forward. Parish is an interesting option up forward tooWorth noting no Heppel/Clarke/Hibberd today
+1I’m liking the look of Devon. Starting to think I’ll revert back to the F1-4 I had from day one. Whitfield, Devon, Steven, Brayshaw
I’ve had to go 4-4 mids and Naismith R2 to fit those forwards in. Not locked, but strongly considering it+1
Have had Devon and Whit since day 1 and the other two were a wait and see given all the other cheap forwards floating around. Well.. I waited.. and I saw. Only issue is that it probably means Naismith R2 or a 4-4 midfield.
I like Devon because he doesn’t really need much of the ball to pile on the points. Really fills up the other stats and will kick a goal a game. In saying that though.. he has only had one good fantasy year..Worth noting no Heppel/Clarke/Hibberd today
Could you go, Townsend F5 and Taylor F6 with a bench of Rankine and King/Davis?Thoughts on Townsend? Has needed 3 goals to get to his 50 odd but has probably cemented his spot
Worth paying the extra $$ for over Rankine, Taylor, Davis, King?
The 4 I’ve suggested probably have similar scoring potential and job security at a cheaper price though?Could you go, Townsend F5 and Taylor F6 with a bench of Rankine and King/Davis?
Possibly. Townsend just feels a little safer to me. But you could rotate the 4 given their opponents from week to week and how they’re scoringThe 4 I’ve suggested probably have similar scoring potential and job security at a cheaper price though?
Think Budarick at 170k (if named, which I think is likely) is a better option. Budarick, Taylor, King, Sturt actually is a solid enough F5-F8.Could you go, Townsend F5 and Taylor F6 with a bench of Rankine and King/Davis?
His breakout will come, it’s almost overdue. I’ve always thought once he does break out he’ll be a star. There is a few cheaper midfield options which makes it harder.Jeez McGrath would be the biggest lock if he could have held defender status, little cheaper than the Worpel, Walsh, Adams types.
Could you do it?
Think I'm gonna go Long, with his role off half back. Looks good for a 70 or so, if he plays. Same price but much more upside than Atkins with his role
1) Dev is bloody expensive. I think you can play the wait and see game with him. Out of 8 seasons, he has cracked the 20 game mark in 3 of them. Durability issues and Bombers still have Hep/Clarke + potentially Hibberd to come into that midfield. Ainsworth is a shoe in to up his average. Has two injury affected games in his average from last year and is looking primed for a big one. Role is a big one with him. Certainly a worthy optionJeez that game has thrown a few spanners into the works - relatively happy with my team, just need to finalise my fwd line. Toying between:
1) Devon and Ainsworth (smashed it in Marsh)
2) Macpherson and Petracca
3) Steven and Petracca
Feel that all three have upside but also considerable potential for disaster...
Strongly considering him. Taking 2 of Cumming, Madgen and BZT at D5 and D6. Feels dirty, but there’s nothing there and those 3 have looked pretty goodProbably more of a Supercoach lock, but Zerk-Thatcher will have some great value at 312k too
